This place looks amazing, great decor and extremely clean. Always wanted to try it and finally got a chance. The staff is very... friendly and helpful even when ordering by describing the items before hand. I got the West end breakfast on a biscuit. Thesandwich was just ok, not amazing. I was expecting more. The biscuit was dry to a point where those pesky crumbs stick on theback of your throat and cause that watery eye. The egg was either very tiny or maybe I got a half an egg.. The Chai iced tea wasalso average. My coworker got a burger which he enjoyed thus the reason for 4 stars. I will give it another shot and try adifferent menu item. Such a cute spot for a coffee or a bite to eat on the weekend. We tried this for the first time only getting coffee but... definitely want to come back to try the food. It looked delicious. They also do pop up food offerings from other businesses.Outside seating too and pet friendly. Read more

My wife and I live in Virginia. Every time we visit my family in Allentown we visit Jay?s Local. We love the hospitality, food,... service, and most of all the vibe. We have yet to have anything but a perfect experience. The Local burger is fantastic and amust have! We will continue to return time and time again. Read more
I like the idea. Interesting and fresh menu. Not a big menu, but look around, there are things posted all over. On my visit... things seemed to be going about as smooth as sandpaper. Not sure if some college staff placed a big order or if it was trainingday, but it was a very long wait. My Latte had some very strange flavors going on. Could just be their roast. And the AvocadoToast was tasty, but I suspect it could be way better with a little Lemon Aioli Drizzle, or a little tasty lipid of some sorton the toast. **After returning a few times, I have concluded the first visit was just a bad day.
