We ate here for the first time today and all I can say is I am impressed! It looks like any normal diner from the outside, but... it?s warm and welcoming on the inside. The food was absolutely amazing. We had almost no leftovers (and I took 3 kids!) I wouldhighly recommend them for any breakfast/lunch type meal. Read more
You can enter from the front or rear. Cute family diner. All the staff is friendly. Checked on us several times. The food came... out extremely quick. The stuff French toast wasn?t overly sweet and the turkey sausage was fresh (not frozen). The Americansandwich was on point. Read more
Went here for our wedding anniversary brunch. Been following them for a while on Instagram and finally came to try! Diner style... restaurant with good breakfast/brunch/lunch. I don?t eat pork so them having a lot non pork options was a plus! I got short ribhash and pancakes which were AWESOME! Husband got the triple threat sandwich which has cornbeef, beef brisket and pastrami. Thatsandwich taste like more! Will be back soon!! Read more
I wanted to try a new restaurant for brunch. This was my first visit and I was not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and... they were knowledgeable about the menu. It was a beautiful day and I was able to sit at a table outside with an umbrella forshade. They suggested the special which at the time was the Pumpkin Spice Beignets... ????DE...LI...CIOUS!!!! The Glass Onion literally never disappoints. The specials are fresh and delicious, the regular menu is consistent and diverse.... We've been coming here at least once a week since they've opened and we've never gotten tired of it. Even for take out, the foodis always boxed up great. Went here with a friend he talked about how good the food was. He was right great food. I has the brisket hash and was flavorful... and Very filling. I pressed on and stuffed myself by going for the onion soup since I am from out of town so knew would not beback soon. Definitely worth trying. Nice mix of flavors and nothing overwhelming so that was great. Nice little mom and popkind of place. Worth stopping by if you are in the area. Read more
Hear about this place everytime someone mentions "breakfast" on Downriver and Friends Facebook group We went on a Saturday and... waited about 10/15 minutes. The place was pretty busy but the hostess and servers were great and got us checked inquickly Small place but has some outdoor tables as well as a small bar type area. Ordered the French toast and the Americansandwich. The American sandwich was excellent ???? The French toast in my opinion was a little dry but my girlfriend lovedit. Will definitely be back again.
