Two stars because the other two visits I've gone were fine. After this last visit I'll rethink ever going back. They needed to... be reminded to give us our drinks, the sweet tea was terrible, they forgot two sides and one BBQ sauce. The food is inediblewithout the sauce. We were the only guests there but one party in the lobby so there really isn't any excuse but lack of care. Idrove back to get the missing two sides and explained there were several things wrong with our order, but mainly we were missingsides. They didn't care to ask what else happened, didn't offer any apology or food comp for the inconvenience, didn't confirmthe size of the two sides and gave us two 6 ozs. One was supposed to be 8 but I didn't bother mentioning. Not worth the BBQpricing to come here. Read more

I visit this location typically once every couple of months. In a competitive bbq area like this they won?t win any awards in my... opinion, but then again they don?t charge what the award winners do either. They have a solid and enjoyable quality at areasonable price, and the drive thru is nice and easy. The brisket is their best, but a personal favorite are the hot links(they are legitimately spicy beware - I love it.) Their ribs are good, pulled pork is so so, and their other meats tended to betoo dry for me so I avoid them. Their sauce (should you need it) is actually pretty good. All in all a good solid and convenientplace to get bbq without the crowds. Read more

::UPDATE:: Second visit was another excellent one. Ribs flavorful and tender, baked potato fat and full, an OMG that banana... pudding! Ordered online for pickup. Food was ready when promised and the staff checked my order to make sure it was rightbefore handing it over. Portions were good, cook was right in everything, and flavors were great. Will definitely come back andtry other menu options. Only negative point is the potato salad, and that's because none in my household like it with the sweetrelish. Read more

3 meat plate to go was a lot of food. I had the turkey, ham, and sausage, with spicy potatoes and spicy cream corn for the... sides. Dessert was the buttermilk pie. All around pretty good. Read more

I ordered online several pounds of meat and containers of vegetables, an almost $200 order. I did not want Texas toast I wanted... buns (not a choice online) so after placing my order I called to see about getting buns instead. Since my order was quiteexpensive I didn?t think it was out of line to throw in 8 buns. The young man who answered was insistent that each bun cost$.70. He also could not find my online order. After chatting with him for a little bit longer he just handed the phone over tosomebody else and I explained to her the fact that I had an expensive order there that didn?t seem to be found which I had paidfor online. And that I would like eight buns to go with the chopped brisket. She put me on hold to locate my order and nevercame back on. I finally hung up after several minutes and kept checking my order status from the link sent to my phone. Thetracker didn?t seem to move and I wasn?t going to sit home and wait forever so I showed up at the time told me to show up by theoriginal text message from them. One at the window the young man was very insistent that I pay the $5+ dollars for the verysmooshed buns I received. Won?t be going back there anytime soon, despite the food being decent. Average at best. I ordered a sliced brisket sandwich and a order of fries. The fries were soggy and the brisket looked and... tasted like a generic roast beef sandwich. They have been in business since the 70s so they are obviously doing something rightbut chains like Dickeys/Rudy's have better BBQ than this, and their bbq isnt that good. I tried to drown it in spicy bbq sauceand ketchup but it didn't seem to help. Read more

Let me start off this review by saying that the sausage was AMAZING! Now on to the meat and potatoes of the review. This is a... nice little BBQ place with a rustic vibe. I would say that the price doesn't quite match the portion size, as it's a little onthe expensive side. Everything they had was delicious, except the pulled pork. The pulled pork was a little bland, whichstruck me as odd, because the Ribs, Brisket, and Sausage were flavored very nicely. The BBQ sauce was very good as well, butthere was only one flavor. All in all, it was a great BBQ joint. Read more
