I have been to Hakata or Fukuoka many times... Maybe 10 or more times for a few days each visit over the years. Saw Hakata Ramen... here in Allen.. I knew I would be disappointed but took the family here to give it a try. Asking 15 bucks for carbs in broth ispretty laughable. Especially when you fail in all departments. I know.. I know the part time college age cooks did not tastethe broth. It was way under seasoned and tasted like nothing. The bone broth powder you can buy at Don Quijote in Osaka tastesbetter and much cheaper per bowl. I am not saying Hakata ramen in Hakata is something magical, just well done bone broth.. But,best ramen I ever had was from some small ramen shop in Fukuoka that was like 500 yen.. Not 1500 yen.. 500.... Also Karaagechicken was like someone had never heard of Karaage chicken and tried to make it. What makes Karaage chicken Karaage chicken..is ......... GINGER... FRESH GINGER... I have had subway Karaage chicken.. again for like 500 yen that would kick your "Karaage"chicken to the curb in shame. When I make it you have to marinade the chicken in tons of grated ginger.. Like way more than youwould think. Just corn starch for breading. I used to make it at my restaurant in South Korea.... This places Karaage tastedlike premade frozen with a hint of ginger.. Save your money.. Make shin-ramen at home for 1 buck. Tastes better and notembarrassingly bad. I love ramen shops in America that opened only thinking about profit margins while rubbing their greedyhands together... "I can charge 15 bucks for 1 dollar of carbs and broth! The customers are dumb and think because its Japaneseits 5 star food! I'm a genius!"... My old restaurant served Sea Food for often $200 bucks a plate you hacks. If you charge 15bucks it should feel worth 15 bucks. Customers are not dumb. Also the egg floating in the ramen was ice cold in the middle. Youcooked a bunch and put in refrigerator to order... Again.. Hacks. Ninja ramen down the street went ou Read more

Deliscious little hole in the wall with a warm, inviting interior design. I?d love if they kept the lights dimmer. Dining the... lights would give it better ambience. Very reasonably prices and very large portions. After our experience tonight we?relooking forward to making this one of our date spots. I?d love if they?d consider dimming the lights after 6pm so the dinnercrowd can enjoy a more romantic, personal, cozy vibe. Would make it seem more upscale also. Read more

They said don't judge book by its cover! What a delightful surprise. This Ramen place is a hidden gem on Allen TX. Came in for a... quick Ramen bowl and a takoyaki appetizers. They were very delicious and very quick it might be quicker than McDonald's orIn&Out speed I can say. You have to come by and check out yourself. The food is amazing good and customer service is superb too.Big shout out to Jenny and her coworker to run the tables and guest services so smooth. They were so busy didn't have a chanceto meet the cook. What a skilled cook and owner. Will definitely come back for more. Highly recommended for any visitors orramen lovers. ???? Read more

We enjoyed the croquettes, veggie tofu taken and mini chashudon. Staff was nice, but seemed very busy. Interior is nicely... decorated. Minor, but would love a loud "Irashai?!" when people enter. Read more

Everything is good here. You'll see "Chashu" (pork belly) very often on the menu. Try it if you haven't already. I'm a meat... lover but I love their vegetable ramen just as much. Husband's favorite is Yakisoba, a delicious stir fired noodlesdish. Service is satisfying, will recommend. Read more
