I had been interested in checking out this new Popeyes because it's fairly close to my house. However, for the first few weeks... it was so popular that the drive through line was overloaded so I chose to wait. In the last 2 weeks, I've ordered 3 meals fromthere. The first instance, I ordered a classic combo and they gave me a spicy sandwich. The 2nd time I ordered a classic comboand they gave me a classic sandwich (the one time they got it right). The 3rd time I ordered a classic combo with a large cokeand they gave me a spicy sandwich, a regular sized coke and forgot to include a biscuit. The speaker on the drive through orderpanel is basically unusable - all I can hear is muffled voices and static, which is odd since it's brand new. So the most recenttime, after trying and failing to communicate my order and hear whether they understood, I just drove around and ordered at thewindow. I repeated that I wanted a Classic sandwich with a large coke twice. She apparently either ignored me or intentionallygave me the wrong thing. It's unfortunate because the chicken is quite good but I'm not going to keep paying for the wrongthing. They have a ways to go before I'll give them more of my money. Interestingly, in recent weeks almost no one has been inthe drive-through even at lunch time. So that probably should've been a clue to me about how things were going there. Read more
Went on a Saturday evening through the drive through. Twenty minute drive home and $25 later, I realized that my order was... completely wrong. I ordered (and paid for) a side of macaroni and cheese, but got a double side of mashed potatoes, asked fortwo thighs in my combo and got a thigh and a breast, asked for spicy for my second combo and got regular, and then, didn?treceive the extra biscuit I asked for. At 2pm today the drive-thru was closed as well as the dining area. If you don't have the staff or money take down the sign and... open when you do. I'm a Graduate of Hamburger U class April 1988 and supplier of wireless headsets to the Copelands since1990. This franchisee needs some serious consul. At McD's we would have cancelled their ticket! Food was on point. New location, busy AF. Took a minute to get my order. I did order two family meals... chicken and tenders... were ready had to wait for one of the sides. Customers didn't seem to be bothered by the short wait. Employees were all superfriendly. Will definitely be going back to this location. Read more
Greatly anticipated this location. Great chicken and sides, but the service and speed are absolutely horrible. I even tried to... do them a favor and order ahead with the app, but it was another 30 minute wait inside after the pickup time. Also, count yourchicken pieces. They will short you. If they could up the quality of service here, they would be printing money. Read more
First time trying Popeyes and it was mediocre. We really don't eat fast food or fried foods a lot, so we may not be the best... judge. It was pretty busy so I guess that's a good sign. Pretty pricey IMO. The tea was fresh and the biscuits were decent. Read more
I visited the new Popeyes location on Bethany Road in Allen. I absolutely love Popeyes but I can tell this location is going to... require some patience. I get that they just opened but I've gone twice and it has not been a good experience. The first time Iwent I had food missing. I went to the location again today and it was worse than the first time. The dirty rice was dry like itwas left over rice from yesterday and they gave literally half a cupof rice. I attached pictures to see this. On top of that weordered three chicken sandwich combos and none of the drinks had ice. We were giving room temperature sweet tea and HawaiianPunch. I did not request for my drinks to not have ice. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until after we were already goneotherwise I would have gone back. I really hope this location gets it together because they're going to have problems if they'realready screwing up orders. Again I absolutely love Popeye's food but I don't think that they train their staff before theyopened. I wil not be going back! It's unfortunate because I live nearby. I've been coming here since they opened. They manage to get something wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. Make sure to check you order... before pulling away from the drive- through. Do not order anything extra, like a sandwich or busquits, they will not add them.And even at the drive through window, it takes them at least 10 minutes to correct the errors. Also, I've noticed a very highturnover rate in employees. I hope management sees the value in good employees and works to retain them! Read more
