My husband & I love Pei Wei but this evenings meal was underwhelming. The front girl is very friendly & welcoming. All the... tables were very clean. My dish arrived and the Kung Pao looked great! But one bite in, and the sauce was so, sooo salty. Sadly,the sauce was all over the chicken, and the fried rice sat in the sauce. I only ate the veggies. Paid a little over $40 andcouldn't eat my entrée. My husband had orange chicken and liked it. We also ordered crab wontons and pork eggrolls. Theeggrolls were excellent. Read more
We ate dinner there last night and were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the restaurant. There was no one there at 6:30... p.m.the tables had not been wiped down and the floors had food on them. The windows were the dirtiest I have ever seen in arestaurant. The food continues to be good but not a very appealing place to eat. Read more

Went here for dinner with my husband tonight. Everything tasted fine until I got to the last piece of chicken. It seemed alittle... too chewy so I went and looked at the chicken and it was still raw in the middle! I?m immunocompromised so this is verydisappointing. I definitely will not be eating here again. I really loved the experience of Pei Wei. I only have 3 stars because currently they only allow for take out. It's just not the... same, however I can understand. With that being said, I do recommend. It wasn't overly priced, and the flavors of the foodwere great to the pallet:) Read more
My wife and I love some Pei Wei. It is usually a really great quick meal, especially if our schedules align we can meet up... during week for lunch, as there is a location exactly between both of our offices. Sadly the restaurant in Allen is one of theworst locations around the area. We have had takeout/eaten here a few times with horrid results. Last night was one of theworst yet! We ordered three things: Lettuce Wraps (gotta have those to ensure you don?t eat the entire meal so you have leftovers for lunch next day, plus they are always so delicious and melt in your mouth), Kung Pao Chicken, and Honey SearedChicken. Lettuce Wraps: They were still delicious, but they only gave four minuscule pieces of lettuce. Had to eat the restwith a fork. They were so small they could barely contain one spoon full of the delicious innards. Kung Pao Chicken: My fav isthe General Tso?s (since the original delicious and awesome orange chicken was killed off) but I opted to try somethingdifferent, ?spice things up? so to speak. I should have stuck with the good stuff, as it was undercooked and made mesick. Honey Seared Chicken: This is one of my wife?s favorite dishes they serve. The presentation of the food was horrific. It was like they scraped the breading off the chicken. There were lumps of soggy gross breading throughout and the chicken waschewy and bad quality. I am shocked that they would have served it like this, as there?s no way they didn?t notice it whenpackaging it up. Ultimately it is my fault for not double checking it before I left, but I was rushing around to get back to mywife and the baby who finally fell asleep and we had a few minutes to eat dinner while she napped. On the flip side of thecoin, I never have had these issues with any of the other locations we frequent, it is ALWAYS the Allen one that has majorissues. It's a nice, clean spacious Pei Wei location with plenty of fast food style Asian options and plenty of seating. Food is good,... though a little too spicy, so don't forget to ask them to keep spice level low. Restaurant also serves wine and beer. Read more
