Not a good first impression. We are here on a Saturday night and it is the waitress's first day and there are no other servers.... She knows nothing about the menu. On top of that the mousse dessert we ordered came frozen (waitress didn't know what it wascalled). The cappuccino I ordered had a significant amount of coffee grounds at the bottom of the cup. I didn't realize and formy last sip got a mouthful of grounds. That was really unpleasant. The manager took the dessert off our check but I'm not sure Iwant to risk coming back. Read more

Edith's cafe is quite well known for the brunch but the place in Allen is quiet, good for the coffee time as well :) The french... dessert was amazing ! And the person who serve me was so kind! She was literally such an angel ???????? Read more

Looks great from the outside. Food and service not up to par. We were never even asked what we would like to drink nor did... anyone refill the waters. One of the servers had animal hair on their shirt. Go someplace else for a good brunch. Read more

Quality of price does not match food quality. This place is extremely short staffed when we visited this morning around 11am.... They also wasn?t really busy at that time. Once we arrived we were not greeted bc no one was up front. We waited on the host andshe sat us. I called ahead and put our names on the waiting list just in case they got busy and requested to sit outside. Shetold me when we sat down at our table only reservations get to sit outside which I found weird when they was slow and didn?twant to take care of the customer that is currently in there restaurant but anyways.. the food was cold, and just not good. Wepaid a stupid about for this quality. Our waitress was nice but veryyyy forgetvale. We had to keep asking her for our items. I?msure bc they was short staffed and she was probably tired so I don?t blame her. This restaurant is in a nice location and itjust doesn?t fit in. We want be back. I don?t see this place staying open if they don?t turn things around quick! Read more

Our first experience here was for my cousin?s baby shower. It is an adorable location with such a cute set up for private... parties. She had a Tea party theme along with delicious tea sandwiches. They made a special tray for my daughter to enjoy on herown. We will have to make a trip back up for lunch on another occasion. Read more

We had such a great experience! It was our (mine and my boyfriend?s) first time here and we were very hesitant. We hoped it was... not all fluff, and it proved to be better than we expected! We had gotten a few martinis, mimosa?s, a charcuterie board, pomefrites, sweet potato fries, and a strawberry shortcake in the form of a rose. This cafe blew me out of the water, I was soimpressed! I cannot wait to experience high tea next time! We have also taken a bag of caramelized pecans that we had a sampleof on the charcuterie board. Read more

Horrible service. Small pastries each were 7$ each . Went in to get some fruit tarts, but they didn't have them. Their food is... mediocre at best. I asked the girl for the menu for the high tea and she didn't give it to me. The price is too expensive forsmall pastries this size, and their taste was basic. This used to ve a decent place but they're not good anymore. They have thisfacade going on where they seem high end and French, but their food and pastries simply are not good enough for that price. Plusits ALWAYS empty probably because they charge too much... there is 0 ambience. Read more
