9/18/2022 Update: this is the second time I've been here this summer where I've ordered a large flat top and have been given a... large cup rather than the flat top in the Avalanche cup. (Note: the signs on their menu currently state if you order a flat topthey will give it to you in the next size cup.) I've been to other DFW locations this summer, ordered the same thing, and havebeen given my order in the Avalanche cup. However, in Allen I have now twice been overcharged for products I have notreceived. So be wary of ordering flat tops at the risk of over paying! Quick and friendly service with so many different flavors and a variety of refreshing drinks to choose from.
My go to in the Texas summer heat. If you like Bomb Pops, their Bomb Pop shaved ice hits the spot.
How can you go wrong with shaved ice? UPDATE, Still great but I tried something I shouldn't have LOL. I love pickles but Tigers... Blood Piccadilly was far too much for me. Yummy treat on a hot day (or a cold day). A little pricey for a cup of ice and sugar water, but we all are in business to make a... profit and provide for our families. Not so over priced that I won't pay for it, but ice cream served up the street is lessexpensive. They do have a lot of flavors and other options. YUMMY!! Read more
We went through the drive through, which was busy, but moving quickly. The young man who waited on us was courteous. My son... wanted me to try the shaved ice with cream in it, he said it was incredibly good. We ordered the Oreo cookie sno with cream. Ihave no complaints, my mind didn?t care for it. It didn?t stop me from eating it, but for myself the texture was weird. I willdefinitely stick with the traditional shaved ice, but that?s a cool option for people who like the cream in it! Read more
The shaved ice at Bahama Bucks is so smooth. It's shaven so thin that it tastes soft and light. The prices are a little high ($4... for a "regular") but the regular was larger than expected. We had the Jungle Berry, Pink Lemonade and Piña Colada. The PiñaColada was smooth and creamy. Jungle Berry was not sour like they claim, yet it's a great flavor. Read more
I?m giving this place a 3 instead of a 2 because everyone working here is pleasant and they keep the place clean. A couple years... ago this place would maybe have been a 4, but their prices are no longer in line with their product. They?ve always beenexpensive but at least they used to do a special on Mondays where it was reasonable. They charge about $4(!) for their smallestsize ice; their competitors cost less and give you more. My entire family can get ice cream at Braum?s next door for less than$7 TOTAL. And that is ice cream, not water and sugar syrup. If you really want ice go to Jeremiah?s where you can get a gelati(ice cream and ice!) for less than the price of just ice at Bahama Bucks. I?ve noticed this place has looked more and more emptywhich is not surprising as they continue to price themselves out of the market. Read more
