I am very sad to say that my recent experience at your Subway store on 4061 west Algonquin road in Illinois was absolutely... terrible. I went in with a family member and she placed her order for her 6 inch sub. Following this, I placed my order for 2foot long subs. The first worker asked his female coworker to assist me. I asked her to change her gloves , which she did. Iproceeded to pay my bill and heard her tell her colleague that she gave my family members sub to a guy she rang up in betweenus. No apologies whatsoever. I asked her that there should be some compensation/credit for her mistake as I would have toreorder my 6 inch sub and go thru the line again. Even a simple apology would have been accepted.. She immediately becamehostile and incredibly rude, and unapologetically said she was going to have someone redo the order. Her attitude was despicableand I asked her for her name at which point she refused to give it to me. I asked her for the store managers name and number andshe said" you can go find that yourself". I took the receipt and told her that I would use this information to file acomplaint, at which time she told me to "shut up ". I was completely shocked by her utter lack of manners and poor customerservice skills. There are witnesses to this event. I am a practicing professional myself and would never treat anyone like theway she did to me. This incident occurred at the Algonquin store at around 7 pm on Saturday Sept 4th. I sincerely hope you canaddress this issue, and identify this female worker , who does not deserve to be serving the public in any manner. Very strange visit. Stopped in to buy subs to take to a 4th of July parade. Girl working there was putting together subs for a... catering order. We said hi, she barely acknowledged us, kept on working on the large order. After at least 5 minutes of hernot helping us, we left & went to the Subway at Algonquin & Randall. No problems there. They never participate in any promo's even the $1 off any footlong sub coupon you get on your grocery store recipt. Don't ... stock beef on purpose because of owners religious beliefs. They will give you minimal veggies and are very sloppy with thesandwiches Read more
Sent husband for the advertised $5 foot long when you buy 2. Subway announced they DO NOT PARTICIPATE. They couldn't provide... Roast Beef as they were out and had only 2 choices in bread. The chicken tasted under cooked. So, not honoring any promotionsand out of standard ingredients earns one star. Read more
The subway is head and shoulders above all others I?ve ever been to. Heather is a complement to the store. You can tell she... loves what she does, and she makes one heck of a sandwich. Working fast food is not fun but I?m telling you Heather has fun.She is so pleasant, warm and just darn good at what she does! Daniel is pretty good also. Hands down the best Subway I?ve ever been to! The bread is always toasted to perfection and even the salads are delicious! The... sweet girl who is always there even has my order memorized and always seems so happy to see me! She has turned this Jimmy Johnslover into a Subway lover for sure! Read more
Whoever owns this establishment, I hope they see this review at some point... I have been to this Subway a handful of times.... Every time I stop in, there are always young kids working, they don't care, and it shows. I will be going to a different Subwayfrom now on. I went in tonight and there were two young guys working. The one who rang me up at the register and made mysandwich and pizza was Kyle. When I walked in they were all sitting at a table chatting with a friend who didn't work there.Kyle then forgot to set the timer for my pizza and instead of burning it, I got home and it's under-cooked. He also didn't wantto add cheese on top like all the other Subway establishments do. I had to ask for it. Just overall poor customer service andsloppy. Horrible experience! The bread and veggies were soggy and the Customer service was awful. I dont like leaving bad reviews but... this really upset me. I ordered online and and got a roasted chicken sandwich, I opened the sandwich with no chicken in it. Icalled and a lady answered I explained what happened, all she said was "oh my god.." she spoke in her language to someone andtook about a min or so until a guy answered, I explained the situation and he even asked me if I was sure that there was nochicken and proceeded to ask me what was on the sandwich. He said he will make it and I would have to pick it up. I went in thestore with a man and woman standing there staring at me with no greetings. I showed the man the receipt to prove I in factordered it( i was calm because I understand mistakes happen). No smile or greetings he told me he made this sandwich withchicken and also made the other sandwich, he insisted that he put the chicken in there and told me he has a video of him puttingchicken in there and asked if I wanted to see the video, I said yah and I also told him if he wanted to see my sandwich with nochicken in it.. he goes on and said " it's fine I already made your sandwich, just thought you should know!" I thanked him andwalked away..What type of customer service is that, accusing I was lying, I appreciate he made the sandwich but why add all ofthat. Never going back and the food wasn't good at all!
