I felt an extremely good vibe as soon as I walked into this place. I was taken care of almost instantly. The owners are very... kind and made me feel extremely welcome. Up date.. tried the lobster mac n cheese.. it was very fishy tasting..I couldn't eat it.. sad I was looking forward to it.. they... did take it off the bill.. Hubby got the pot roast..Saud it was ok.. The pasta visual soup (chili with pasta)was once againamazing!! Hubby got half slab of ribs.. they're a very tender..fall off the bone..bbq sauce was good. I got the cowboy burger.. its very good..it was a big patty..wish the bacon was crispy..next time I'll askfor crispy bacon..really liked the fries.. service good. Read more
Nice little gem of a restaurant in downtown Algonquin! Stopped by after working up a huge appetite after a 50+ mile bike ride up... to the Wisconsin border and back on the Prairie Trail. Perfect spot to grab some food and a beer or two. The Buffalo ChickenWrap was huge and delicious. My server, Maille, was amazing -- friendly, great food recommendations, and just the right amountof attention. I'll definitely be coming back here. Can't wait to try their burgers! Read more
Really enjoyed Cattleman's. The staff was awesome our server Maley(?) was perfect. The restaurant was a bit warm for my taste... but hey it was reallyt hot outside. The poutine appetizer is big enough to be an entrée. The food is fantastic the burgers arehand packed and delicious. The owner/manager stopped by to check our experience... very nice.
