Ford a quick sub. I would say it is ok. Doesn't have that this was awesome I want to come back. Like some other sandwich places.... The most annoying thing is the kiosk. The kiosk sits in direct sunlight. Tried to cove parts to see. This long number popped upafter paying and then disappeared quickly. So no clue what the number was. No receipt got printed. When the person in sideyelled out the number. Asking what is the sandwich was the only way to figure out if it was mine or someone else's. Watchingsome others I wasn't the only one having this issue. Never again. I have yet to receive a correct order from this place and I have tried it several times. Today I ordered a... pepperoni pizza and meatball sub with extra meatballs for delivery. About an hour and a half later I received a cold cheesepizza that looked and tasted like school cafeteria pizza. The meatball sub was also cold and did not have extra meatballs. Update; after the review they replied asking email them but, NO Response from them again. Pros: They?re fast, & they have a... nice sitting area on the right of the store. This was my 1st time ordering from The Italian Place through Uber Eats. Sad to say my 1st experience was not a good one. My... Meat Lovers Pizza was delivered in a box that came apart and had Black smeared markings on top of the box that the Uber Eatsdriver handed to me. With all that is going with Covid-19 as well as being safe when handling food. The box should been tapedon all sides and placed in a The Italian Place bag to protect my pizza from any elements. In the way my pizza was delivered Ididn't feel safe eating. And the Chocolate Chip cookie that is stated on the Italian Place menu as Baked Fresh everyday was notfresh. It was hard and has a stale taste, not worth the money I paid. I truly feel I was ripped off in more was then one, wasof money, time and I still haven't eaten dinner because I writing this review. Wao! This place is AMAZING! Normally I don't bother to write reviews unless it is a horrible experience, but this little... restaurant deserves the highest rating. They just opened not so long ago at the Mosaic District and this was my 7th visit tothem. The restaurant itself is not big but it is beautifully decorated so it gives you a feeling that you are indeed in Italy.Their pizza is one of the best in the area but I also enjoyed their pastas and sandwiches plus you can purchase a few authenticItalian wines, pasta, spices etc. to take home and be your own chef. They have a very nice outdoor seating as well where you canenjoy your meal while listening to evergreen Italian songs playing. Went here looking for a good Italian sandwich and that's what I found. The staff at the front were great. I ordered the Giorgio... and it was a well put together sandwich with a good bread to meat ratio. I appreciate a harder roll for my sandwiches and theroll here was a little on the softer side bit still good and the roll held up to the sandwich. I will definitely come back. Read more
