Having just moved back to the area from Hawaii, I was excited to discover a poke place close by. Unfortunately this place did... not live up to the reviews and was honestly inedible. The fish was far from fresh and tasted like it had just been doused inAloha soy sauce and tossed with some giant chunks of onion. I ended up tossing it in the garbage because it was disgusting. At the time I went, it was Poke only. I loved the food, but it's important that you know what you're getting. It's not a choose... your own adventure of toppings and sauces in a bowl of rice. It's a simple rice with a seaweed salad on top and a hearty portionof sauced/ seasoned raw fish on the side. I've never had poke from Hawaii, but I strongly suspect this is what it's like. Ifyou're looking for the trendy style of poke going around you might not dig this place, but if you're OK with simple, wellprepared poke, this is a great option. Read more

They keep personal food/drink in the same refrigerator as restaurant drinks. And they wouldn?t even give me a cupof water. All restaurants are supposed to have that.
