My buddy and I had a great BBQ diner at Mission BBQ. You order at the counter and the gentleman once he found out I was new to... the restaurant walked me through the menu. I had the 3 meats and I picked Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, and Beef Brisket.Compared to the prices I have been paying lately for dining out I thought the price was reasonable at about $25 for 3/4 lb ofmeat and a side salad. I ate here for the first time on Friday and I was greeted by the kindest, most helpful, and friendliest lady named Theresa S.... She asked me and my bf if this was our first time there and when we said yes she went above and beyond to explain the wholemenu, offers, where everything was located and offered to let us sample any pieces before purchasing. I?m not one to easily beimpressed but the way she treated us was beyond perfection. We felt so welcomed and valued. Honestly, you never see that kind ofcustomer service in the DMV area. Absolutely blown away by the level of dedication to her job, you would think she was the ownerby the amount of effort and care she put in. Once we got our food she also gave us both complimentary dessert since it was ourfirst time. Then when her shift was over while we were eating and she had already clocked out she came to our table to check onus, she what we thought, and made sure we had everything we needed. Just the sweetest lady ever!!! As for the food, I wouldgive it 3 stars but the customer service was a 5 so it averages out to a 4 star review. Read more

For a "chain" restaurant, I always find the BBQ here to be solid. Is it the best I've ever had? No. Is it consistently very... good? Yes. They have a wide variety of sauces in different styles as well, my personal favorite being "Tupelo Honey" which is aspicy sweet zingy sauce. The pulled pork and moist brisket here are solid and if they have the black plate special of the smokedribeye it's worth a try. Read more
