solid 3 stars. Very nice staff, but we came in during a not-so-busy brunch and asked to sit outside. The restaurant was... virtually empty. Ordered 4 entrées, including 2 burgers. Asked for one medium and both came out well done. The meat was verydry and the patty was small. I’m guessing about 6oz of meat, and the burger itself was $12. That amount of fries was $5 extra.That entree was definitely not worth $17. To make it worse, we didn’t get checked on by the wait staff for about 20 mins.Couldn’t even get a new burger if we wanted one without getting up and going inside. We told the server when she finally cameback, and of course they did nothing. The breakfast burrito was the best part. Wouldn’t come back for the food. Read more
The food presentation was great, but the taste was unfortunately mediocre. We went for restaurant week, and the menu given was... about half of the options that were advertised online; which was disappointing. The staff was friendly and the environment wasclean and modern. The coffee and apple tart were probably the best things we had. Not sure if we'll be back. Read more
The inside of the restaurant was absolutely freezing. I got stuck in the women’s bathroom because the lock was messed up. We... waited for over 10 minutes while servers continually walked past our table before someone finally just gave us water. Our actualwaitress didn’t bother to come to our table until we had been there for over 20 minutes. Meanwhile there were only a couple ofother tables with customers. The food was mediocre at best. The potatoes were undercooked and over-seasoned. The smoked salmontacos were disgusting (nasty old salmon) with bland rice. Will not be returning. Read more
Me and one of my boys went to Maison Social to catch up. It’s in a pretty convenient location in Alexandria close to the... Platform Apartment. Our service was Bree. The inside was a lot more elegant than I thought it was going to be. They have a wideselection of beers as well as a solid entree menu (unfortunately we missed happy hour which from 3-7pm). I got the Marrow burgerand a nice sour beer (top 5 I’ve ever had). Highly recommend this place for a date night and or happy hour. Read more

Beware. Their restaurant week menu could be more expensive than ordering items individually. I went there for the restaurant... week and it was very disappointing. Check the prices of each menu on the dinner menu and then decide if you want to orderseparately or the restaurant week. you can save like 2 dollars if you choose carefully. the main dinner menu dishes were verygood. all the fish were cooked to perfection. The appetizers were ok. the spinach dip was a little watery but they let us ordersomething else. the service was good, too. it would have been nicer to offer something that makes sense for the restaurantweek. The food here was decent. We got the steak and rock fish with risotto. The fries that came with the steak was meh. Steak was... pretty good, juicy and flavourful. Rockfish was good but the risotto could use from work. Read more
Great atmosphere, neighborhood bar feel. Breakfast burrito was delicious (the garlic crema!) and we loved the Fruity... Pebble-coated French toast. The Bloody Mary was nice and spicy! Read more
