My wife and I love this place! Everything we?ve had there has been amazing. Their sandwiches are all made with homemade bread... and taste very fresh. The manager Joe was very inviting and passionate. We love the matcha lemonade! We can?t wait for theircocktail bar to open up so we can try their martinis. Read more

Mae's Market & Cafe is one of those places where if you haven't been there before you don't know what to do. Order from the guy... making the food? Sit down? Find the menu that all the other customers seemed to have? Order from the woman who was behind thecounter? In the end, without a menu, I just ordered a slice of pizza that had to be reheated. The thin crust was kind of toughand tasted so-so. And the music sounded like it was stuck between two stations. Not impressed. Mae's Market and Cafe was a pleasant surprise on a recent overnight stay in Old Town. Here's why: 1) Food: They sell breakfast... pastries, lunch and lots of goodies in the market. We found something for each of us, including our five-year-old daughter. 2)Coffee: Brewing Counter Culture, it was good! Our iced lattes were delicious. The one complaint was they didn't have simplesyrup at the condiment bar. 3) Space: It's spacious and the aisles are well marked. They have a large outdoor patio as well andindoor seating inside the large building behind the restrooms. Read more
The most disappointing meatball sub I've ever had. It was extremely dry, lots of bread, and maybe 6 small meatballs altogether.... It was definitely not worth the $10. Read more
Incredibly friendly service. I felt very welcomed. The coffee is great. I had a pumpkin spiced latter and my girlfriend had a... coconut matcha latte. Both were delicious. We ordered some sandwiches for lunch and they were great too. The bulgogi sandwichwas very tasty. The Italian sandwich was good as well. The inside of the cafe is very cute.
