Very pleasantly surprised, food was delicious! First time here at this restaurant. Nice relaxing atmosphere . We both had the... veggie soup which was full of fresh veggies! I been eating at this spot for more than 4 years every time I go to the WDC area on business trips for Uncle Sam. The Beef... Teriyaki on a stick is BOMB! Be careful ordering over the phone. I repeated myself about 5 times with the lady saying we wanted seafood. We got beef. I don?t... know how you can confirm the seafood order and give us beef. It was also a long drive from us and first time ordering. When theissue was brought up, they were absolutely of no help. So disappointing. The quality of the beef wrap (which we didn?t evenorder) was also terrible ? the bamboo shoots weren?t fresh and we were given 4pcs of wilted lettuce. Nothing special here. Youcan go to Peking Gourmet Inn for peking duck and HongKong Seafood Palace for everything else. Won?t come back, don't recommend. Read more
This is my Aunt's favorite restaurant, so we took her there for a Mother's Day lunch. The food was fresh and tasty. The... restaurant has a lot of waiters so service was quick. The hot and sour soup is excellent. We also ordered green beans, eggplant,crispy beef, sizzling scallops and shrimp, General Tso's chicken (we were a big group). I'm not a big fan if Chinese cuisine butI usually enjoy the food at this restaurant and would recommend it to others. Read more
The best Chinese restaurant in Northern Virginia, hands down. Everything is always perfect here, from the wait staff to... appetizers & entree's to dessert. Very tasty adult cocktails too, I recommend the S.B. ???? You will not be disappointedregardless of what you choose. Read more
I don't know where to begin. The combination fried rice had no flavor. The lo-mein noodles were okay. The vegetable egg rolls... were mushy and exceptionally greasy. This was my second time having them. I have decided I will not be back. Read more
Had lunch here with some friends and everyone was very pleased with their meals. Everything was cooked perfectly so the chicken... was tender and juicy. The flavors popped in every single item we were served. Highly recommend going here and would love to goback again to try more. The restaurant itself had a fairly fancy decor but you welcomed as you are, as my group was not dressedup. Staff was prompt and kind and the food came out very fast. Read more
I'm writing this in hopes that the restaurant management sees it and makes the necessary corrections. I've enjoyed at the House... of Dynasty for years. One reason is that the service was always good and the food was well prepared and hot when it came to thetable. We visited on a Sat. night and it wasn't very busy. We seated ourselves with an impersonal nod from a server and waitedover 10 minutes before anyone came to greet us. When we finally did get some tea it was just warm, not hot as it usually is. Ourwaiter seemed terse and hurried the entire night. Our spring rolls came out greasy on the outside and barely warm on the inside.Our fried rice was tasty but very dry. When we finally got our waiters attention by asking another waitress to alert him werequested some soy sauce. He dropped it by the table without breaking stride or a single word. I guess they no longer give youthe frozen sherbet in between dishes which was always a nice touch. I'm going to give it another try before going elsewhere forChinese food, maybe we just caught them on an off night. Perhaps there's a good reason why they weren't crowded on a Saturdaynight. Read more
