Bird friendly (see photo). The food is exceptional here. The meals are simple which is great for people with allergies and the... ingredients are extreme high quality. The higher pricing corresponds to the high quality of the food because better food costsmore. They also have a wine menu here including natural sparkling wine with no additives which is very good. I love coming hereand they are always nice to my bird companion and we get to have lunch sitting outside. Read more

I thought the food was good, but portion of my salmon and toast was small. I did hear a lot of people complain the Website... descriptions of the menu did match with the menu of the restaurant. I liked it and I?d probably comeback. Read more
I got to try the spot in my attempt to kill time while getting my car detailed nearby. Lovely space and great service! Enjoyed... the latte and salmon toast I had and also the strawberry cream smoothie which was of the chain! We snuck into the DMV to surprise a good friend for his 40th birthday. We assumed the hotel had a complimentary breakfast - it... did not. So we decided to venture out to Old Alexandria and lo and behold!: We found Grateful Kitchen! Truly breakfastheaven. We got the salmon breakfast sandwich and carrot juice with ginger.
