Ordinary service, food is not bad (the breakfast combo) but could be better in my opinion specifically the silsi.
We drove for 45 minutes to get to this restaurant and arrived at 2:30pm and as soon as we walked in the young lady behind the... counter told us they were closing in 15 minutes and that we could only order to go. We ordered to go and waited for the foodless than 10 minutes, meaning if the restaurant would have been more professional, we could have order and eaten at therestaurant and be out before or by 3pm. Here?s where I have a problem: their door says they close at 4:30pm, google says theyclose at 3pm and they now say they close at 2:45pm. I regret placing the order at all since I felt not welcomed as a customerwilling to spend my money at this small business; they even have a sticker on their windows promoting to ?shop small?? guesswhat, not me! Not with this unprofessional treatment. I have no interest in coming back to this restaurant and I do notrecommend it. Read more
Very delicious food reminded me with my my mom food.
Not sure why it?s called bakery but it?s known for traditional Ethiopian breakfast, and that?s very rare to find in the dc area,... the Ful is my go to and probably the best thing on the menu. Read more
DELICIOUS! I got the croissant egg sandwich, she made it fresh on the spot and it tasted so great I wish I can eat another one!... The ingredients are fresh, the portion is very generous! Also it?s family owned so always want to encourage local! Read more
Smells like cardamom. Tucked away in Pickett Rd, and never would have noticed if I hadn't been walking neighborhood while car... was being serviced. Must be good coffee - guy with a smock from another restaurant came in to get a cup. Cool Ethiopianpastries. Quaint. Smooth jazz in background. Read more
Good food. Fresh and delicious. First one in - no other customers - long wait for egg sandwich. Place needs thorough cleaning... and some updating - lacquer peeling on table, chair rails gouged or missing, overall dusty and a little dirty. Read more
I?ve been coming here since this place opened. Consistently great food. The Special ful is mu all time favorite.
