Been a fan since the official Crab Cab food truck, finally tried the brick and mortar location and I?m excited to say they... didn?t let me down! I seen the advertisement for this restaurant on Instagram and I was out today so I stopped by for a takeout order. The crab... fries were delicious ? ate them on the way home. My sister & I dropped into this newly opened spot called Crab Cab. It\'s a cozy little spot, cute decor and good music playing,... but not too loud so you are able to have a conversation. We were greeted upon entry and told to pick any seat. We opted for thebar of course. I ordered The Crab Crusher & Stuffed Shrimp with Asparagus & Brussel Sprouts. Sis ordered a Sprite????, CrabFries, & JL Crab Quesadillas. Everything tasted great no seafood substitutes THANK GOODNESS. You\'d fare better coming duringhappy hour 3-7 M-Th in order to get more bang for your buck. They also boast a full bar and ample free parking which is always aplus. So I give this place three out of five stars. When I first arrived I waited in line for 45 minutes. The Establishment is very... small and not much room for a waiting line. After we waited 45 minutes we finally got a table, the waitress was very nice but Idid feel rush to order my food she basically ordered the seafood egg rolls for me without me even asking.(which were bomb by theway) Not to mention we ordered the crab drink that was $15 & watered down to say the least.\nI ended up ordering the stuffedsalmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus (it was not worth the price it was a little slab of salmon with a tiny bit of crabmeat sitting on top of it)and my boo ordered the crab ball with fried shrimp and green beans. All of my food came out lukewarmmashed potatoes was very bland and my asparagus was the highlight of my meal. My babe had a banging crab cake same bland mashedpotatoes and some pretty decent green beans. We were seated right in front of the door so we got a gust of cold air every timesomeone came in and out the door. Needless to say the jams were lit so the vibe was cool. The only reason I would return is forthose seafood egg rolls they were delicious, they were also lukewarm but they were still delicious.\n\nI will recommend going tothis place if you really want to experience the full on crab cab experience I suggest you go in the daytime where there are lesspeople.\n\nI also think there should be a two and a half hour time limit on seating because I noticed how people were finishedwith their meal but sat for an additional 30 to 45 minutes just chit-chatting while people were waiting in line to be seated.Just a thought.
