I was very excited when I walked in because the space is incredible and ambiance is perfect. The person who took my order was... extremely exhausted so she got a lot of it wrong. I ordered a flat white (she didn't ask the size) and they came out with ahonking 16oz cup filled to the brim. Wow. A flat white is usually 5oz so I was confused. If a cafe isn't going to havetraditional drinks, they should label them properly. I got the quiche Lorraine for there and it was just loaded with cheese Ihad to scrape most of it off - it was barely edible. I asked for 2 baked goods to go and she had to squeeze them into a minibag. Overall, I was disappointed and will be going to other cafes in the area next time. Read more

A great French style cafe in Old Town Alexandria. I had a Croque Madam and Croque Monsouir, the egg on the Croque Madam was not... quite cooked to my liking (clear jelly on top of the white). Aside from that they cold pressed orange juice was delicious, aswe're both of the sandwiches. Read more

Looking for a lunch spot off of the main street in Old Town, Yelp led us to Cafe Du Soleil. It wasn't what we expected and we... probably won't go back. Here's why: 1) Food: They sell crepes and other items. My wife ordered a crepe with vegetables and Ithe croque madame. Neither were great and mine came with a cheaply fried egg rather than a poached one. The winner was ourdaughter's quiche lorraine and the Nutella crepe. Also, their prices are high for mediocre food. 2) Service: It was not veryfriendly, impatient and didn't seem to like the fact that our five-year-old daughter was with us. 3) Space: It's small andinside a large building with other businesses. The space is decorated poorly and is dark. 4) Location: It's off of King Streetand near the water, which was a win! Read more

I moved to old town from Seattle and finding good coffee hasn?t been the easiest feat. This place is truly a hidden gem. They... don?t have a sign that hangs perpendicularly to the building so you have to be close to notice it. Excellent coffee & fantasticfood! I love the savory crepes (smoked salmon & prosciutto are so tasty!) and I feel like I taste summer joy every time I havean iced oat milk coconut latte. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is wonderful. I love the exposedbrick wall and how they have a variety of seating (couch, small tables, medium tables, high bar, and outdoor). Good for socialgatherings & working. Wifi is available and there are plenty of outlets. Read more

GREAT spot! The inside is wonderful and unique, they have a lot of different seating options. The service was great, they got my... order out so quickly. I highly highly recommend the crème brûlée (danish?) every bite was a taste of heaven. I coulddefinitely see myself coming here every day to work, meet with friends, get a cup of coffee to go. Absolutely worth checkingout! Read more

Very good crepes, sandwiches and coffee. I recommend the Croque Monsieur. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating.

Great atmosphere, customer service and the food was tasty. The chicken Ceasar salad was delish and the chicken was seasoned very... well. The ham, egg and cheese crepe was yummy as well. I would have liked the cheese melted throughout and for it to be servedmore hot. The vanilla latte was very good. Will definitely return. Read more
