I love breakfast and brunch at diners, and as usual Bob & Edith's did not disappoint. I ordered the steak and eggs. The thinly... cut ribeye was cooked perfectly medium. My friend, who is particular about her eggs, thoroughly enjoyed the 2-egg platter withbacon and hash browns. Our server, Angel, was attentive and in sync. Bob and Edith's is a regional chain greasy spoon diner. They are open 24 hours. Everyone seats themselves, when they are full... they don't take your name down to make a list - you wait "in line" until a table is free then you go and claim it. I showed upat 11:30a on a Sunday, and as expected it was crowded. We had a short wait but got seated within 15 min. For what it is,everything went well. it was clean, we got our order in pretty quickly, and the food was served somewhat quickly and wasdecently tasty. Our server was attentive and refilled our coffees and waters regularly. My over easy eggs were cooked overeasy. This was my first time at a Bob and Edith's (I'm not from the area) and I would go again to try more of their menu. I wastoo full for dessert but hope to remedy that soon. I understand the economy but how is this 8oz. Where is the medium rare? This is the second time that I've ordered this meal from... them with completely different results. You shouldn't ask what temperature a steak is desired if it isn't delivered. Read more

We?ve always loved the Bob & Ediths in Springfield and we just moved to the Alexandria area and decided to give the one on... Richmond Hwy a try. Everything was packaged well and looked great. Until I started to dig into my omelette. I mean?. I knowweekends are busy but come on! Eggs with a side of parchment paper? Gross! It was a shame because the omelette before I got tothe paper was really good. Hopefully just a one time issue? Read more
Great meal! Found this while visiting from out of town. Ordered the B&E Iconic burger and it was amazing. Fresh hot fries and... tasty milkshake. They had a jukebox and played some cool songs while we ate. Read more
