Night staff is horrible. They are miserable being there. Get my order wrong every time, and it?s not a complicated order. I've always used whataburger for my late night cravings, but this has got to be the worst one I've ever been to. Charged $13.00 for a pattymelt was given two pieces of toast and a single hambuger patty.
18 minutes in the drive-thru. 1 vehicle at the pull forward spot. 1 at the pickup window. 1 at the pay window. We all ended up... waiting. Order arrived. I asked the employee to confirm it was my order. She repeated it back to me and handed me the bag. WhenI drove away and opened the bag later it's the wrong order. Freshly made. Sure. What I ordered, no. This whole pull forward andwait thing vice give people their orders at the pickup window is driving customers away. I have cut way back on fast foodrestaurants for the following reasons: overpriced meals, slow service, poorly trained staffs who are overpaid and generally lackpride in their work, and not getting what I pay for. This Whataburger in Alexandria, LA has now joined a growing list of placeswhere I am no longer compelled to spend my money. Whataburger is a great chain and I've been visited many locations I like. Place immaculate, neat, but nothing to brag about. Shakes have no real fruit like Sonic. Onion rings are frozen ones you can buy... at the store, nothing special. Regular burger dressed well but bun much too large for burger. Tasted ok. Just nothing specialexcept the spicy ketchup ...that was a 10. Read more
Usually food is good and Usually right but I just bought an order and still didn't get what I asked for. All I ask as a customer... is take 1 min to repeat my order so I can say if it's right or wrong. Didn't bother to go back after checking because was tired. Read more
Normally my go to place for late night grub, but tonight the person working the window wasn't my normal person. The wait is... expected this late but when I get to the window to pay she said they were changing out the register and couldn't process mytransaction....no problem I'm pretty patient. Except I could see my food sitting on the counter....lost and alone and gettingcolder with every passing second. When they finally handled the register situation 5 minutes later she handed me my food, mydrink, and my card. I got the sausage gravy and biscuits which is usually great but with a chance to cool off they....well...it's not the foods fault so I'll bite my tongue. Especially considering I have no utensils with which to eat my food. Thankgoodness I'm not traveling or I'd be covered in gravy! Read more
Portions have shrunk, which I understand with the economy. The server was friendly and helpful and the food wait wasn't... extensive. Enjoy the atmosphere which reminds me of family houses from days gone by so I find it relaxing. Read more
