Inconsistent smoothies, after ordering for the past year or so. This morning, (and the reason I?m writing a review) I ordered... via app. The lady working the front blenders seemed unbothered, in no hurry, chatting while my pickup time came and past (just afew minutes, but still, I ordered from out of town and drove in by the pickup time.) Walked my smoothies to me without a word.Now, I?ve worked in the service industry, I?ve been tired and bored before, and you can?t always force a smile, but when it?snot busy, I can?t understand not hitting your mark. (Maybe I?ve just been lucky, but) The location at Oil Center Drive inLafayette has never missed their mark, and the smoothies are much more consistent in taste. They have only missed their pick uptimes when they?ve been super busy. I guess I?ve been spoiled with them, but it?s a bummer that the Alex location isn?t similar. Read more
I've only been here once with a friend, and enjoyed it very much! I often have to remind myself that this place is excellent... with the quality and selection of food items available for lunch and dinner. I am particularly impressed by the kindness andcustomer focus demonstrated by this particular location's staff. I live nearby and often walk past it on my way to Albertson's.During one of these walks to the store, the store manager Britteny saw I ooked overheated and offered a free smoothie. Britteny's genuine kindness and initiative likely saved me from dehydration, heat exhaustion, etc. In these days of automation,robotics, AI, etc., Britteny was a MUCH-needed breath of fresh air, regarding the power of the human touch that is fundamentalto high-quality customer service, community stewardship, and memorable experience. This was my first visit to this place and I ordered a Blimey Limey smoothie and a Chipotle chicken wrap and they both were so... good! I was pleased to see that they had quite a few low carb options as well. The only negative thing I have to say is thatthey are extremely slow. I was the only person in line and it took almost 15 minutes to get my order and I thought that was abit much. But other than that, I'd definitely recommend this place! Read more
I confess, before tonight I was no fan of smoothies. Apparently, I?ve just never had a good one. Until now! The Mango Berry... Combo was a true delight. A jerk chicken quesadilla, an ultimate club, and a peanut butter banana crunch flatbread rounded outthe meal for three of us. This place did not disappoint! Read more
I just found out about this place a few months ago when I started working there & immediately fell in love!! ???????? The food &... beverages are health based & quite delightful. I also like the fact that it's very affordable. I'd gladly choose TropicalSmoothie Cafe over McDonald's or Burger King any day!!! #GiveItATry!!! Read more
