It's Popeyes Chicken!!! its that simple, the only way i could ever give a bad review about a Popeyes Chicken Restaurant, it... would have to be absolutely terrible and i mean really terrible. I mean i only eat fried chicken from two places/restaurantshere in Louisiana or well around the Natchitoches/Shreveport/Alexandria areas and Popeyes is one of them. The other I can't sayas that would be disrespectful to Popeyes in a whole and i simply won't do that. But overall the experience and the food wasliterally just what you'd expect from your Popeyes Chicken Location. 3 stars given only because service was a bit slower thanthe usual time frame you'd expect and the Restaurant inside atmosphere wasn't that pleasant of comfortability or cleanlinesssmell you'd prefer when sitting down to eat somewhere. You usually expect a dingy and somewhat scruffy atmosphere at Popeye's in exchange for good tasting fried chicken. Not the case... at this Popeye's in Alexandria. Clean, good and friendly service-no doubt a product of the motivated manager that was on dutyand took my order-, but best of all: delicious Chicken. They even had smooth Southern music playing for ambience. I stopped atPopeye's in New Orleans and Baton Rouge and kept walking out for lack of cleanliness or attitude from the staff. It's always trial and error going to the Popeye's in Marksville. My last visit was at night and I paid for food I didn't receive... but if you don't call right away your name won't be put down and your just out of luck. Read more

You can't go wrong with the Cajun rice and the chicken stripes. It's on point every time. I was welcomed when I walked in. My... order was repeated back. Everything was good as usual. I recommend Popeyes but I don't think I need to this place is alwaysbusy busy! Oh and for breakfast their grits are the best around. Read more
