Phenomenal experience. We had a long day, meant to get here earlier than we did but ended up walking in 30 minutes before close.... I?ve been to some places who seem to be annoyed by people coming in late but here, we were welcomed with a smile. Adam was ourserver and he was attentive but not overbearing, we never felt rushed. We forgot to order our appetizer and when we realized welet him know and it was out on the fly. We made the mistake and he made it like it never even happened. The portions were HUGE.You could easily share one entree with 2-3 people. The Caesar salad was one of the best I?ve ever had. I loved how the chef cameout and checked on all of the tables. He was extremely friendly you could tell he loved what he does. I would not hesitate to goback and would highly recommend it to anyone. (Edited) Our first experience here was not the best. The food was wonderful, but they had a large party that got a bit out of... hand and ruined the atmosphere. The owner invited us back to give them a second chance, and I'm very glad we accepted. The foodwas even better than the first time, and the service was impeccable. Truly a fine dining experience. The steak was perfect, andthe homemade Caesar dressing was awesome. This was for their Father's Day special event, and as a result I highly recommendtheir special events, too. Castelluccio is an all around amazing restaurant! The staff is friendly and accommodating, the owners are sweet, and the food is... perfect. Meals are made to order and are generous portions. I highly recommend their risotto or alfredo dishes. The drinksinclude great Italian wines (no duh) and an eclectic range of cocktails along with Italian and domestic beer. This is a one of akind place and only adds to Alex City/ the Lake Martin area's quality of life.
