This was my first time going after being recommended to go several times. The service was excellent and we got great... recommendations for food. I had the classic pizza. Not too big not too small and for a pizza joint not in a major city they hadgreat pizza dough. I had the classic (which isn't a pepperoni) and I really enjoyed it. They also have specials sometimes. I wasable to get a side salad and a drink with my pizza for the same price if I had just gotten the pizza. Oh and they make decentunsweetened tea. It surprises me how many don't. Read more
I literally don?t think I?ve ever ever left a negative review, but this is the 2nd time I?ve had a bad experience & as a small... business owner, I?d want to know if my employees were losing money for me. About 3 weeks ago, I called 24 hours in advance tosee if I could place an order for a few large pans of pasta. The young man on the phone said ?we probably only have enough tomake 2 pastas because we?ve been so busy?(& then mumbled something about the cost of goods or something?? What?)? I said that?sfine, we can make 2 work for the amount of people we have. He continued to talk about how it was just going to be reallydifficult for them to fulfill this order. I finally said ?would you like me to order somewhere else?? He replied, ?yes thatwould be great? & hung up. My husband & I were just sitting there like? did that just happen? Lol. Fast forward to tonight. My7 month pregnancy craving was cheese bread, so I ran up the street since Palio?s appears to be open until 9pm tonight. Lightson, door unlocked, 3 people behind the counter & I ask for a cheese bread. The young man at the counter said ?oh sorry, wealready turned off the oven.? I said, ?are y?all not open until 8 at least? (Since it was 7:40 & the day after christmas Ithought they might be closing early)? he said, ?we?ve just been slow today, so we shut off the oven?. WHAT. I said ?y?all mightwant to lock the door?? He said they were letting one more person pick up. Ok bye? So awkward, & not one of the other peoplethought to try to help him out with his awful customer service. I try so hard to support local, but this makes it reallydifficult. My first impression of Palios is that it's super cute and it smelled great. The girls working didn't seem very interested that I... was there to pick up a Door Dash order. I was asked the customers name when I first walked in and then stood in front of thecounter for about 15 minutes before another girl asked me the customer's name again. She asked another worker if my customersorder was ready yet and she said, "yes... it's been ready for a while." Typically I wouldn't write a review about this because Iunderstand they were busy but the girls at the register were counting their tips and goofing off with each other while mycustomer's food sat right next to them getting cold. I've heard great things about this restaurant but I was extremelydisappointed in their customer service. Read more
Always fresh and warm food. Best lemon ???? cake ever! Very lite and tasty. The dinner salad ???? was way too much for one... person. It took me 3 days to eat all of it. Read more
I really want to like this place. Their gluten free pizza is great, and that is hard to find. I ordered at 6:25 and nothing came... for more than 2 hours. The restaurant closed and I couldn?t even check in. Finally, someone showed up, asked me to walk out tohis car in the rain to get the food so he didn?t have to get out, blamed my neighborhood for being hard to find, and said therewere no drivers available. The gentlemen claimed to be the owner, so no really sure there is much to do here to rectify thesituation. However, making matters worse, my card was charged three times for the order. Good Good. A jewel tucked in a tiny strip mall. Everything about this place is above the norm. The young lady was swamped in a... lunch crush literally sprinting to tables with pizzas on high. One of the only pizza spots in the area with dairy free cheese AND gluten free crusts. We have searched everywhere from mineral... wells to Fort worth and that's hard to come by. It was a little chilly inside the restaurant, but food was really good. Read more
