The nostalgia is there for me, I fondly remember the drive in restaurant in Whalley on the King George and the one at 208th and... Fraser hwy. The taste is the same as you remember, if you like burgers fries and onion rings you most likely will enjoy a teenburger with a frosty mug of root beer....I'm heading there now lol, talked myself into it:) Read more
The lady at the counter was amazing. Eventhough understaffed and overworked, she was so helpful and amazing. Full of Okanagan... kindness. I love the a and w classic egg and toast breakfast with coffee. It is our standard when touring on our motorcycles.Also for anyone who has not tried the a and w coffee try it. Better than Starbucks. The food was great... Better than expected. The burgers were perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful. Veggies fresh. The onion... rings were crisp, with mild, tender (real, actual) onions. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Restaurant could have beencleaner... But, the real draw, the food, was great. Even enjoyed the poutine. Read more
We ordered a meal here a while back and the drive thru window staff messed up the entire order. When we called back they blamed... my Uncle for the misunderstanding and treated him like trash and yelled at him on the phone. When I went into the store theydenied having a manager on site. When it was clear that the shift supervisor (an older heavy set women who was yelling at allthe staff) was there but she wouldn't acknowledge her mistake and stayed in the back of the store. I called back a few times andtalked to a manager named Karen who stated she would be contacting the regional manager to recitify the situation but nevercontacted me back even after repeated phonecalls. Long story short, this location is filled with rage-filled, lying andincompetent staff. I will never order from them again. Read more
Most disgusting food I have ever received from an A&W. We ordered via DoorDash around noon on Saturday August 6th. I ordered a... whistle dog and instead of calling to let me know they?re sold out, they sent a teen burger that was made with spoiledingredients. I?m also ALLERGIC to mayo so I cannot eat this. Second, the drink with my son?s kids meal was spilled in the bag.Third, the baby burgers with cheese had NO cheese on them. Fourth, the poutine had NO cheese in it, it was literally soggy friesfloating in a container of watery gravy. Oh, and they also charged me extra because THEY were out of the whistle dog.Unbelievable. Definitely will not be using this A&W ever again and will be letting all my friends and family know of thishorrible experience. Read more
I wish I could give this place 0 stars and I?ll tell you why. Every single time I come into this restaurant there is an older... lady working who seems to maybe be the manager? Anyways, I am shocked and appalled at how she treats the staff she works with.She?s demeaning, rude and does not know how to speak nice to the people she works with. The staff are amazing here andabsolutely do not deserve to be treated the way she treats them. It?s not right and someone needs to speak with her. Read more
