I walked in, was seated and my server took my order immediately. Within 8 minutes my food arrived. It was hot, tasty and... perfectly made. When I go back to Knoxville I'll be sure to stop in again! Read more
First off let me say our server was great the store was clean and the bar attendant was constantly working on the hot and cold... bar. That being said the menu sucked they really don't have anything on it anymore my friends had the bar and I ordered from oneof the like 8 or 9 dinners they have, it was ok but not great and before anyone ask they were not busy. This location is a gem! I have fond memories of family time at Shoney?s during road trips when I was younger. What an experience... to see a Shoney?s again, come in for a visit, and gather with family now including my husband who also went to Shoney?s with hisfamily when he was a kid. Thank you to Shoney?s Alcoa for all of the warm hospitality your establishment showed to our familyduring our visit to Tennessee. Our server Donna was so very courteous, gracious, and delightfully considerate to us for which weare most appreciative. John was funny and kind, Julia was knowledgeable and friendly, and Mariel was truly a sweetheart. What ateam! I have always loved Shoney?s, since I was a child. They have good food at a reasonable price. Typically, we are regulars... there, depending on the week. Most often, Bianca is our server, who we absolutely adore! She is very hard working and takesgreat care of us, when there! My only frustration is the reduction in store hours to 9PM, which sometimes, makes it difficultfor us to go, as much as we would like. Read more
I have to say, this is only the second Shoney's I've been to in the past 30 years. And, I have to mention Ben, the young man who... takes care of the buffet. That's one of the hardest working young men I've seen in a while! That buffet is spotless, he takespride in what he does, which is the Christian thing to do! Ex Athlete Ex MMA fighter, you want to get yourself in shape? Go talkto Ben over at Shoney's, he'll hook you up! The food was good, and plentiful! Haven't eaten at Shoney's in years and they didn't disappoint. Really great breakfast meal. We passed on the food bar, but the... food looked fresh and warm. Service was really excellent, Bianca our waitress was the best!!!! I'd recommend this place andwould go back!!! Read more
