Atmosphere a little dated. We came on veterans day so the service was a bit slow because they were busy. The bacon was a little... too crispy for my taste. But don't let any of this stop you from trying this place. The eggs over easy were perfectlycooked. The biscuits were big, fluffy, amazing. Big carafe of delicious coffee. Fantastic country fried steak. The county hamwas delicious. We will be back. Read more

My 90 years young Grandmother Loved it and that gets 5 Stars in my opinion! We had taken her up through Townsend and Smokey... Mountains to look at the beautiful Fall leaves and on our way home she was hungry. She loves good country food and that's what Isearched for on Google and it brought us here. My grandmother was a cook most of her life, working in restaurants and had herown restaurant for some time...... She has been shocked by today's prices ,lack of quality and small amounts of food But Thisfood put a Big smile on her face! She wanted Turkey and Dressing and they had it here! We just got it to go and didn't take herin. It was Saturday and UT home game so I figured that's why wasn't many customers. When we got home and opened up her food shesaid, "Now that's a Big serving of food, like you're supposed to give!" It beyond satisfied all her cravings and was more thanshe could eat But She made sure to tell me to save the rest so she could eat it tomorrow! lol Read more

Service was good but I got very sick afterward. I got regular breakfast and we had not been there before so I had no previous... experience with their gravy. It looked odd but I poured it over my eggs and a buiscut. Took a bite and immediately scraped itoff. Apparently, I got enough that it stuck. Had to drive home immediately to well.... throw it up. I did notice, the personbeside us got gravy a bit after and it looked different. The gravy does have sausage in it. I did call so that if someone elsecalled, they would know. They said they would tell the cook. Read more

Went in for breakfast yesterday and it was crowded. We got a table in about ten minutes and the service was excellent. I got an... early bird special and my girl got biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns. The biscuits and gravy is supposed to be like a religiousexperience. Sorry to say I didn't join the church of gravy today. It was dirty brown and salty with no sausage. Nothing reallyspecial but edible. My cheese eggs and bacon were very good. I've eaten here under the previous owners and the food to me wasbetter. That being said I enjoyed the meal and would go again. One thing the place has going for it besides excellent waitressesis very good price. Breakfast is very reasonably priced and it's good. Locals adore this place so bring patience if you wantweekend breakfast. I would reccomend a visit to this Maryville institution. Read more

In today's world $13 doesn't get you much. But it does get you two big breakfasts here. The seating is tight and the ambiance... is nothing to rave about, but the food is good. And that's what counts. Read more

Best thing about the chicken was the gravy. The batter turned to mush, wasn't crispy. Fried squash and country potatoes were... excellent. Hamburger patty would have cut better if given a steak knife than a butter knife, but was tasty none-the-less.????Cornbread muffin was nice! Read more
