Great little Mexican taqueria (not New Mexican, which can be difficult to discern around here; I love NM food, but when I want... Mexican food that's what I want). So far all the food has been delicious: tacos, burritos, tortas, soups, and a great salsa bar.It helps to know Spanish when ordering, but you'll get by without. If you plan on drinking water, it's only bottled, not tap.Prices are reasonable and it's easy to over order (though nothing wrong with leftovers). Read more
This is an excellent restaurant. Not only is the food excellent, but the staff is wonderful. Try several different menu items,... they are all delicious. Also make sure you get some hot sauce from the salsa bar. This place won't disappoint. Read more
The food was cold. Didn't have flavor. I order tacos asada and Birria torta. Place was dirty. We got food poisoning.

I picked up my rental car at the airport and figured the first stop I should make an Albuquerque was to get tacos. I asked the... gentleman to make me whatever he thought I should try and I had the birria and carnitas. The people were so friendly and thetacos were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place. We has a GREAT lunch at Los Amigos!! The owner helped us order and was so friendly. The food was all made fresh to order and was... incredibly delicious. I LOVED the birria tacos. If we were in Albuquerque longer, we would have definitely eaten here more thanonce. Read more
Update: I recently went back to go get the tacos I declared the best and was really disappointed. Im not sure if they changed... management but the birria quesa tacos were definitely not the same. Completely different flavor, onions weren't chopped asfinely as they were. The consume was not as flavorful. My corn tortillas fell apart. I also waited over an hour for my to-goorder. I am again, in search of the best Birria tacos. No longer searching for the best because this place has the best QuesaBirria Tacos I have tasted in Albuquerque. They are reasonably priced and very good customer service. The AL Pastor Torta isamazing as well. The quality of the food is awesome. Would definitely suggest this place. Read more
