Fantastic food. The servers were very attentive and the chef that took my order checked on me after I finished. If I could... give this place 6 stars, I would. Read more

You?re greeted very well as you enter. Our server was great. Took the order very nicely and food came accurate. The food taste... alright, they don?t adjust the spice level, it?s just one spice level that they serve. The keema naan was great except it couldhave more salt and spice. I think they don?t just cater to Indians, their clientele is more Americans. The owner (I think) waspresent in the restaurant and was reaching out to customers to ask if everything is alright. One of the guys(server) had a verycasual attitude. You don?t expect that at a fine dine. Read more

Nice lunch buffet. They offer good quality food. If you don't like buffets they have a tremendous menu and plenty of authentic... Indian beverages including alcoholic beverages if that's what you desire. Very friendly staff, nice family owned business and itis very clean (this is high on my priority list). Worth the trip. Lunch buffet is around $15 a piece and definitely a good valuefor your money. The buffet has about six entrees salad items, chutneys, naan bread and a traditional dessert item. If you enjoygood homemade Indian food this is worth your time. I say yum yum and yummy. Maybe you'll see me there I'm a frequent visitor Inever have had a complaint about the food or service. We absolutely loved the selections they have in their lunch buffet. Everything was well seasoned. Vegetarian options available.... They bring out fresh batches often and the staff are very helpful. They offer tons of seating for any size party. Price is notbad at around $18 or so with tax for the lunch buffet. Taj Mahal will be one of our frequent stops in Albuquerque. Read more

I'll be honest, I have never tried Indian food in my 34 years of life until yesterday at this place. The food was different I'll... just say that. My taste buds were going wild with all the different spices I was not used to. Pretty interesting! I wasn't evensure what I was eating haha. But this buffet was nice and the relaxing atmosphere was cool too. The staff was attentive and madesure we were ok as we ate. I give it 4 stars because I thought it was a little pricey for two people but overall if Indian foodis your thing I'll recommend you come here to eat. Read more

This is one of my top all-time favorite places to stop in for lunch when I'm in albuquerque. The lunch buffet is not gigantic... but it does have all the classic Indian cuisine items you would want. The staff are always friendly and the restaurantdecoration is beautiful. The buffet is open for quite a number of hours during the middle of the day. While it is not billed asa vegetarian buffet I would say that a full half of the items would probably be okay for a vegetarian who might want to join youfor lunch. Read more

I haven't had a lot of Indian food in the past, so I tried the lunch buffet to get a sampling. Everything I tried was good, and... they were fairly busy so the food was constantly being replenished and was hot and fresh. Nothing was too spicy, but I was alittle surprised to see beef meatballs on the menu. I did not see any prices for the lunch buffet, so I was surprised when Igot the check and it was $15.95 plus the cost of my drink. The service was good, though, and they immediately replaced my drinkafter they accidentally took it away before I was done. Read more
