I've been here three times within the past two months, and although it's not the same as when I was a kid, it's still delicious... and the best New Mexican food in the state! The sopapillas seem to have changed, but I still enjoy them. The food isconsistently delicious, the drinks are made perfectly, and the atmosphere can't be beat! But most of all, the servers arefriendly, hard-working, and attentive; they really make every dine-in experience great! The cantina is my favorite spot, butevery dining area is nice to be in. The photos are from my most recent visit. :) The salsa that comes with the chips is just asI remember it being when I was a kid, and the reason I'm so picky about other salsa, haha. We will be back! Enjoyed the restaurant! Chips and salsa were delicious! Salsa was a bit different than your normal option (bbq based??). Drinks... were great and actually reasonably priced compared to other places! Watermelon margarita was amazing! Food came out on time andtasted very nicely! Photo is of the chimichanga! Would recommend for others while in the area! Read more

Awesome service, great New Mexico style food. :) Went there around 2pm during ABQ balloon fiesta weekend, and ended up waited 45... minutes for a table. Not sure if that?s normal, as this was our first time, but it was well worth the wait! Atmosphere wasawesome, pricing was pretty decent, and the smell of the food was so strong it carried outside, which made a lot of people (likeus) decide to wait it out! Once inside, chips and salsa were brought immediately. Salsa is spicy, yet light sweet aftertaste.Food was amazing, definitely worth going, and came super fast! AMAZING CHILE RELLANOS! Waiter was very polite and attentive. Refilled our drinks, and came back to check on us. Food came out... of the kitchen fast. Great atmosphere. Whenever we are in ABQ we stop by and eat. Love the different salsa with the chips and they have good green chili. ????
