Reviews for Little Anita's New Mexican Food in Albuquerque, NM
Lower than average food. I am a tourist and the locals recommended it. I tried the enchiladas because the locals recommended it.... The food is tolerable and not disgusting but even if I lived in Albuquerque I wouldn't return to this restaurant. I probably gotunlucky and tried the worst enchiladas they served all month. The service was great though. They were professional and the waitfor the food was short. Sadly, even with professional staff and short waiting time for the food doesn't make the food anybetter. Lower than average. Read more
Great location on edge of old town. Service was quick and friendly. Food, including chips and salsa, and margarita were average.... I am from AZ and am used to house made chips and hotter Mexican food. Salsa was average and bland and disappointed they did nothave any hotter hot sauce/salsa available. I do love the New Mexican tradition of sopas/honey with your meal. Read more
Very busy however servers are friendly and smiles. I can't eat a adult plate. This order was perfect for me. Delicious and... tasty. I was told by a local lady to come here as I was walking around. It doesn't come up on Google maps. The locals lovethis place. Read more
WOW ITS GONE DOWN HILL! This location has no excuse bc it is in downtown old town!! I ordered their fish tacos a little after... the lunch rush. I got old, split and freeze dried tortillas with bottom of the barrel fish from 11 am until they served it on myplate(brownish old fish on the right. My guacamole was brown inside and out (shown in picture) and when I complained, themanager replied "He should have mixed it"! I mixed it and showed him it was brown inside also and honestly he shouldn't havesaid that! That's disgusting! Potatoes were Hard and stale along with wayyyyy too much grease! Oh and it was 23 bucks for aninedible meal for two with discount. Waste of gas time and now very unhappy. Read more
Great location right where everything is! Cool older building, inside has a cool south western theme going on. Food was pretty... expensive but based on location it?s to par with others in the area. Taste of the food however was decent, but all of it wascold upon arrival. Was a busy day, so might be due to that? would give it a try again. Read more
I was very disappointed in the quality of food, service, and price. We traveled a long way and was looking forward to some... authentic Mexican food in Albuquerque. Options were limited so we chose here. It took a while to get our order placed and the"jumbo" margaritas where small, watered down and expensive. Food didn't have much flavor unless it accompanied the super hotChile Verde. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't worth what we paid. Read more
The food was amazing. We didn't have a long we wait. The floor could have used a little sweeping. They seemed a little short... staffed but our food came out timely and hot. It's in a great location as well. I will definitely visit again. Our waitress wasvery nice and attentive Read more
Amazing food, great value. We got the steak tacos and taco salad. Try the salsa and chips!
