First timer. Counter service and budget friendly restaurant. Interior was covered in military and first responder flags and... memorials. Loved the wall that featured women in the military. Ordered a NM Philly with French fries. French fries were awesome.Philly was on a soft bun and served hot. Service was okay. Not much in the glass bakery display; a few brownies in plastic wrapand a couple cinnamon rolls. Soft drink counter could use some TLC. The soda machine continually was jammed with ice - oneworker made it seem like this happens all the time. Shoved a knife up the ice dispenser to break up the ice. Happened again whenI went for a refill. Was an issue for every customer. Straws were served out of the box on the shelf below the soda machine.Paper towel dispensers in both bathrooms were broken. Fantastic place to eat with wholesome local vibes. Very patriotic interior design. Good service, great food. Nice budget meal to... eat in a semi-social environment. We had a great time and all of the folks were very nice and professional. Has a home cookedmeal feeling to it. I highly recommend the burger. Interesting looking place. Order at the counter. The menu is written on white boards. I ordered the chicken fried steak and... eggs. Asked for green chile and cheese over everything. The food came out rather quickly. The chicken fried steak was clearlyhand breaded, which is awesome. However, they did not put green chile and cheese on the eggs only on the chicken fried steak.The eggs were cooked over medium. No big deal. The food was decent. The chile was slightly spicy. There is no table service. Youget your own drink and your own silverware. No one checked on me to see how the food was. Not sure if that's a normal thing ornot. It wasn't a bad place however it's not for me. They have great reviews and like I said the food wasn't bad. It was decent.so definitely worth trying out. Read more

The food was great. I ordered a taco plate and the green chili stew. The portions are generous and I was full in no time! I... finished up the crunchy beef tacos and could only manage a couple of spoonfuls of the tasty chili and had to pack up myleftovers. Great place to eat with a cool atmosphere honoring the military. We tried lunch here today based on Google reviews and were not... disappointed. The pancakes were fantastic and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. It seemed like they only had one guy workingthe entire front - taking orders, bringing food and cleaning tables - they really need more help. Read more
