This place is a tasty treat! HOWEVER... someone should be available to TELL YOU how the whole thing works. We got ripped off... because we didn't know to FILL YOUR BOWL to the EDGE of OVERFLOWING before you give it to the chef who is cooking your choices.Our waitress was super casual and said, yeah, just get the veggies and meat and sauce that you want and give it to the chef!Once me and my guest walked away and saw OTHER PEOPLE'S BOWLS we knew we had made a HUGE mistake. We enjoyed our $40 worth ofnoodle soup but again, felt TOTALLY ripped off by NOT having been given the REAL low down on how the line works. FILL YOURCHOICES BOWL until ONE MORE ITEM will make the bowl topple and you'll feel GOOD about the money you spent and again, it ISdelicious!! Read more

Went for my birthday with my whole family and had a great time. The food is fresh and it fun to see what everyone puts in their... bowls and what sauces they use. It's a way to get what YOU want and your company can get what THEY want. Perfect! They helpedeveryone sing happy birthday with gong it was nice. Read more

Been here once before pandemic. It was okay. Kinda confusing the first time you go. They don?t really explain what to do. At... least the chef told me to fill the bowl all the way to the top so I don?t waste money. What really put me off was the sign thatsaid if you go through the food line the wrong direction, they?ll charge you a $5 fee or whatever. Lol Is it really necessary topunish people who don?t know the rules? With all the horrible reviews lately, I don?t think I?ll go back. Read more

Wow they double the price of a bowl, you only get what fits in a bowl everything else is thrown away????. Not even a full... bowl. They now charge for an egg in large bowl!! It no longer comes with an egg! So why raise price, make bowl smaller, chargefor stuff that came with it now. Wait staff new Waitress definitely 10 out of 10 stars! Her first day. Liking this place lessand less. Is food quality is even gone down! They only serve the part of asparagus that should be thrown away!! they musttake the rest home with them. Read more

The staff seem like they are extremely unhappy when we had never been to a Genghis grill. We were passed onto a new server 2... times when we told them we hand not been here. They then were very unclear in the instructions and he really seemed upset when Iasked for clarification multiple times. The Dr pepper had no flavor and they really didn't seem to care when I mentioned it. wenever did get a good explanation and had to watch others to understand what was going on here. Honestly I could have overlookedall of that but the person restocking the food on the line was cross contaminating everything and seemed very inconveniened thatI was trying to fill my bowl and kept waving her hand at me in a go away motion. So it took me a long time to fill my bowl. WhenI got my bowl there was a lot of corn in my bowl. I'd don't get corn in my pre-cooked bowl. So I question how good they arecleaning the grill between customers. Asked for drink refills. Never got them. They staff didn't care as we left, we won't beback and I don't feel bad about it. Skip this place. We won't be inconveniencing the staff at this restaurant ever again. Read more

Update: Two weeks after contacting their guest relations and going back and forth almost a dozen emails, I now wish I could give... negative stars for the very first time: If you have a negative experience, the company expects a customer to jump through hoopsand sign up for their rewards program, complete with email spam, to receive one free replacement meal. If you don't sign up,they have nothing to say nor to offer. It seems "guest relations" cares very little about guest relations. I expect theircustomer retention to mirror such a poor policy. I didn't ask for any freebies. I only hoped the restaurant would address myterrible experience. Don't go to this restaurant and do not invest in this company either. Service was good. I paid for a large bowl with three parts starch.. chose two noodle one rice to go. Got no noodles. Didn?t... check till I was home. No one answers the phone. Sucks after a 14 hour work day. I just wanted my order !!!! Read more

Walked in. Asked if we had been before here before and we have not. Asked to get sat a high table and she said no and walked... away from where she put us to sit. I figured we go to get our food. So I guess your supposed to wait for a waiter. Everyonedidn't know what to say when we stood there dumb looking not knowing what to do. A lady that spoke broken English was veryapologetic and helped us. The service is no good food was really good other than the lady with broken English. Staff seemed likethey have no management to give them direction and guidance. I think they noticed how awful there first service was wuth us inthe beginning and tried towards the end.
