Reviews for Flying Star Cafe in Albuquerque, NM
Usually really packed, but the food is the reason for this. I've enjoyed a few different dishes and enjoyed them all. This is ... also a sister store to Satellite Coffee, so they have a lot of the same drinks. The desserts are amazing! The crowds can make itvery loud inside, so sometimes grabbing a seat outside in good weather is more than worth it. They are also pet friendly on thepatio! Read more
[Update]. Really? $8.50 for a pastrie or pie? Its kind of insulting. This place is always busy! The food is good, the... ambience is friendly and inviting. My only problem is the pricing. Although they have no problem getting people including meto pay, I think they are overpriced significantly. $40.00 for a breakfast burrito with bacon, and a fish and chips order. It'skind of rediculous really. Perhaps that's why I don't visit often. Came today at the request of my grandson. I wouldrecommend, but I would definitely warn people of the potential cost. Read more
Great food. All of our food was spot on. Staff is very friendly. The only reason for the 3 star for service is a staff member... came by to grab our try that we carried out drinks and cookies out on. He dumped the paper trash, sweetener and straw wrappers,on the table and took the tray. Otherwise a very good experience. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Pet friendly outside.Kid friendly with kid menus with crayons. Read more

If I could I would give them 3.5 stars. The staffer who took our order was very nice but the wait time to receive the order was... a bit too long. I had their signature Mac and Cheese with Crispy Tender. The Mac and Cheese was good but some of it was cool andnot warm. The chicken tender was crispy but tasteless. You only received one tender which I was a bit surprised. The Rancheroswere tasty and the red sauce was good. The blueberry pancakes were a bit overcooked. The French Toast was nice with fresh whipcream. Read more
