My wife and I ordered online from Dennys on San Mateo and I-40 and it said it was ready at 3:50am but then showed up at 4:15 and... come to find out they gave my breakfast to a homeless man and had to wait for them to remake the order? this is the second timewe tried to eat at this many times but would not recommend this location?also went home and I ordered Nashville Hot chickenmelt tell me this picture below looks like a Nashville hot chicken melt, looks more like a double cheese burger with fries?.Second time this has happened to us. So wife and I dined here twice, one when we stayed in the motel behind it traveling to Utah and again on the drive back (a week... later) and must say that our visits here have sparked our love for Denny's. We have them down here in TX but we just don'tfrequent them. Both times we came here, the service was on point and the food was very good for the price. Helps we came closerto 10pm but still, very positive experience. Being right in front of the motel for travelers like ourselves was very convenientand easy choice for food after driving 10 hours. If we need food the next time we are in town, definitely stopping here. Read more
Denny's restaurant located at San Mateo and I-40 in Albuquerque is one of very few places that you can sit down and have a meal... 24 hours. Their menu offers quite a few things that are appealing such as chicken fried steak chicken fried chicken andsmoothies also handmade milkshakes. The menu has an assortment of southwestern style and American food. I chose the chickenfried steak platter and I must say it was good. Tender chicken fried steak hash brown potatoes and my choice of bread this waschosen from The breakfast menu. The staff was friendly and pleasant to deal with. I however had a very strange visit there notsure what was really going on it seems there was some confusion about the items availability however one of the staff membersdid recognize that a mistake had been made and it was quickly remedied. At no cost it was gratis. Thank you Denny's I did havean interesting experience. I do suggest and recommend Denny's 24-hour restaurant as I will be giving them another try they hadso many things in their favor. Read more
3rd time for my $16 burger to be burnt as hell; love me a crunchy burger. I keep trying because my pregnant body just wants a... dennys burger but it obviously isn?t gonna happen. I called the number on the sign. Received no answer 3 times. While three employees looked right at me. At the curbside. I went... in and was told only the manager answers the phone. I?ve gone only here when not wanting to cook but want breakfast, 4 years.This is the first time. Not okay I usually tip in cash because of this.missing my extra egg I paid for. My entire team at soestá orders here. Night Shift has no skills with customer service. You don?t even say anything and they have a attitude. Read more
Placed an online order with my confirmation email saying it would be ready at 7:01 pm. Arrived a few minutes later and was told... it was almost ready. 7:45 came around and I just wanted a refund since I had already paid in full plus tip. Made me late forwork, and get home to drop off my kids and food was not warm. Burger was well over cooked to the point the patty only coveredhalf the bun. Didn't get my order right, and the waiter knowing they didn't have my sides I ordered, didn't even ask if I wantedto substitute it. Just kept repeating himself that it's not his fault and it was the cooks fault. Overheard the cook tell thewaiter about the sides, and the waiter said he doesn't care just get the order ready. This is a below average Denny's. Ordered: Biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage links, with a side of two pancakes. A cup of... coffee. Gravy didn't have sausage in it as is the norm for Denny's (ordered the same thing at a different Denny's one week agothat had great gravy). It was pasty white mucus of flour and water with no flavor whatsoever. Eggs we're okay and made toorder. Had to season with salt and pepper at the table. Sausage links were okay. Coffee tasted a bit burnt / old. Pancakebatter must've been stored in a fridge with other food. They tasted like fridge stank. Basically, if I was real hungry and thiswas the only place open, I'd still stay hungry...not going to eat here again. There was food and trash on the floor at mytable... Kinda gross . Getting into this Denny's is impossible if traveling from the north--one must make several turns /U-turns to get in the parking lot, though it is relatively easy if coming from the south. Panhandlers in the parking lot willcome right up to your car the moment you pull in. I do not recommend this particular Denny's location. Read more
