Oh so yummy! Food and drinks were amazing. The staff was very atitive and friendly. View was gorgeous.
Regretfully I must give this visit only 2 stars. We have been going here annually for 15+ years and in the past the food has... been 5-star, but no more. Last year and even more so this year the food was subpar. I order a lamb dish which was a curry stewand it could have been pork or chicken or something else, it didn't taste like lamb (which I eat frequently). My companionsmeals were equally disappointing. The fish dish (Halibut) was bland and unsatisfying. The reason to go here is the location andview. It is among the best in the Mendocino area, even rivalling the Harbor House in Elk. We were able to snag a table by thewindows with the beautiful Pacific Ocean views which is a plus. The drinks are creative and beautiful. They have an extensiveliquor menu with an emphasis on Scotches. The wine list is also extensive, although not by the glass where there is only onelabel per varietal. Service was good and attentive. Unfortunately, the Albion River Inn Restaurant is falling off of our list ofmust visit Mendocino restaurants. Ledford House, Harbor House (2-star Michelin rated), Café Beaujolais, and even Trillium Caféwere better this trip around. Read more
Ocean view. Extensive wine list, spirits and craft cocktails. Menu has a good variety of items. We especially enjoyed the local... sole, chicken, pasta and Caesar salad. Read more

Went here for breakfast and the morning ambiance blew me away. The place has a nice fireplace and has a cozy feel with views... overlooking the ocean. I wonder how this will look when it's all decked up for Christmas. We ordered the chefs special for theday - biscuits with gravy and a bacon strip. Others ordered a bowl of oatmeal, fresh fruits and a croissant. The food wasdelicious. No wonder this place is booked most of the time. Will visit this place for dinner next time for sure. Read more
Made a reservation to celebrate our anniversary with friends. We enjoyed clam chowder and scallops appetizers.. great flavor. We... also had the pork cutlet and chicken corden bleu for main courses and were very satisfied. Though the prices were high we feltthe quality of food was worth it. The only thing we were disappointed in was choosing the ice cream for dessert. I view behindthe restaurant is worth a stop in alone. Read more
