I want to point out that the stars do NOT represent the staff - the staff are AWESOME, friendly, and professional!!! The stars... represent the changes being brought in are going to have a negative impact on the restaurant. Not only is the menu minimized, but on many occasions the items were not even available. And tonight we found out the salad bar is now EXTRA add on charge, soupis extra, AND the worst of it is they now ONLY offer prime rib steaks 2 days a week. But with all these cut backs to save moneyand reduce waste they are also rennovating and building a large new pavilion over the river.... People are going to get mad ata "steakhouse" with only 2 or 3 cuts and half of everything else being out of stock. And even worse is the front of houseworkers will be getting the brunt of the anger and displeased customers when its not even their fault. Read more

Staff was friendly. Had not been here in a while. Looked online at the menu to find only tacos or one steak or burger option. ... Thought we were at a steak house. Guess wrong. Always ehlnjoyed our meals there before. It will bexa long time before I driveout there from Missoula to eat again. Disappointed for sure did not stay to eat. Read more

We had a great stay and dinner here passing thru on the way to Washington state. We stayed in the RV park and were able to get... down to the river to cool off as it was hot this summer. The prime rib dinner we had was cooked to perfection and the clamappetizer the perfect start to dinner. It was busy, but the waitstaff were on top of things and kept up with the crowds. Wouldcome back if we're in the area. Or, we might have to take a road trip - the prime rib was that good! Read more

We were staying at the motel next door so I ate here a few times, and can highly recommend. Extremely friendly staff (I even... forgot my wallet one day and they trusted me to start a tab for my meal!). Their breakfast potatoes were by far my favoritething -- perfectly crispy and a great side to my eggs. The coffee was fantastic one morning and a little weak the next time --very minor. Read more

May-2021 What an awesome place & great group of people. Their food is so so good and they are very accommodating on food... allergies. But for one, ALL of the staff are friendly & make you feel welcome. We've been several times on our travels inMontana and have never been disappointed. Hats off to everyone for a job well done ???? We showed up with a party of 7. So accommodating with amazing service. Right on the river with a mini casino. The food was... spectacular and so delicious. The Clark Fork Ribeye was the best for me. But my family who had prime rib thought that wasbetter. Just saying we will be back for certain! ???? Read more

Hands down the absolute BEST dining experience!! Our waitress (did not catch her name she blonde hair in a ponytail) was so... sweet and kind. Our food was prepared in a timely manner and was absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! I like my meats beyond well done, myhusband likes his blue (beyond rare) this was the ONLY place to get both of our orders made perfection!! We have not stoppedtalking about it since we left. We were able to park our semi truck across the street and enjoy our time at dinner and then awalk down to the bank of the river where we watched trout jumping all around. An incredibly peaceful time. We will stop hereevery single time we get a routed this direction!! If you have not visited here you are seriously missing out on a treat. Read more

Very warm and inviting atmosphere. They staff were all the most friendly, conversational and helpful of any I've seen in a... while. The food was good and the price was reasonable even low considering it was steak that we ordered. The restaurant is righton the river just like its name implies so the views were beautiful. They have a full bar and if you're into bourbon whiskeyScotch they have 72 different brands. They have shuffleboard darts and a small Casino room as well. Very inviting to stay awhile after dinner. Also it was only about a 30-minute drive out of Missoula. Totally worth it for a change of pace. Read more
