Came here for my birthday dinner. Wouldn?t recommend coming here with a big party. The waitress was rude & making comments about... us loud enough for us to hear which made things very awkward. I liked the food & atmosphere but won?t be going back ever. Read more

Their food was decent but way overpriced. $23 for chicken fried rice that was mostly rice and $3 to add an egg (you can buy a... dozen eggs for less than $3). Then they charged our table over $12 for using a credit card. Unreal... The waitress wasinattentive as well, especially for a slow Saturday night. I had to get up and go to the bar to order drinks. Too many otherrestaurants in the area to visit. I also notice this place was pretty dead for prime seating time on a Saturday night... wonderwhy. Read more

Customer is always wrong at this place. So, great if you're happy to take anything they put in front of you at $30-40 a plate... and enjoy some gaslighting-with-a-smile in case of any misunderstanding (which can happen when descriptions are missing fromthe menu, standard plates aren't prepared in a standard way, and your server isn't informed). Cocktails were good, but yeah, can't be providing diner-like service at those prices. "Pretentious" seems accurate based on our experience. Read more

We had a delicious dinner in this intimate and attractive space. A very interesting Italian-Asian fusion menu had a lot of... interesting options to try, so choosing our entrees was tough! My drunken noodles were delicious and hubby was really happy withhis seared salmon. We'll be back! Read more

Had some after work cocktails and food with a friend and we were not disappointed. The decor is SUPER cute and service was... prompt and friendly. We ordered a few appetizers and a main to share. Bang bang shrimp, pork belly bao buns, and the meatballswere delish! We also tried the short ribs main which was great, but the mashed potatoes fell a little flat. We had severalcocktails, but our favorite was a special called a pumpkin pie martini- YUM. I'd definitely return and look forward to my nextvisit. Read more

As I am already a die-hard fan of Lark Street Poké Bar and LAX, The Loft @205 completely adds the cherry on top. The Loft is... nothing short of wonderful. Every single staff member treats their customers like family, especially Olivia. Olivia constantlyhas a smile on her face, takes care of all customers and knows how to make sure everyone is enjoying their time there to thefullest. The menu is filled with a variety of delights. Once the food hits the table, in a timely fashion might I add, the dishitself is nothing but colorful and tasteful. I have never had to send a meal back. If anything, I?ve ordered something differenteach time! The staff are all well versed in what each dish has to offer, making decisions on what to eat much easier for thosewho just can?t decide! The ambiance is wonderful accompanied by music to fit any occasion. Perfect location to celebrate abirthday, anniversary, date night, etc. This is by far my most favorite place Albany has to offer. Hats off to the owners, staffmembers and all those who contributed in building this wonderful addition to Lark Street. Read more

Beautiful new renovation to the upstairs of LAX. Modern atmosphere with delicious cocktails and large drink selection. The food... was delicious, we got a bunch of apps to share. The pork belly bao buns were very petite and flavorful. Friendly service.Looking forward to going back. Read more

A fun night out, cool atmosphere, but food wasn?t anything to write home about. For apps, we got the avocado fries (MVP of the... night, fried to perfection with a yummy sauce to dip), meatballs (meh), and vegetarian spring rolls (average, lacked adistinctive flavor). For main course, my s/o got the drunken noodles? he took advantage of the vegan prep option. They wereokay, but nothing special here. Perhaps with a tofu option, the dish would have been more substantial. I got the rigatoni allavodka? which was good, but I really wish our server would have checked in during the meal rather than immediately after the foodwas delivered before we even had a chance to take our first bite. By the time we were acknowledged, it was too late to ask forany Parmesan cheese or anything to make the drunken noodles better. Cocktails were good. I tried the peachy basil mule and thecreamy espresso martini. I?d recommend both. Overall a decent meal, but probably wouldn?t go out of our way to return. Read more
