This was my 2nd time at Mr. D's, the 1st time was very nice and the food was good, good enough that I brought 2 other friends... with me BUT this time I ordered the lobster bisque, if you will, the bowl had scum around the side as if it were nuked but yetnot enough, it was lukewarm at best, and was nothing but a splash of milk in a bowl of water. My salmon was cooked very wellbut with NO seasoning. Such a shame!!! I gave 2 stars because our waitress and the manager were very pleasant BUT the lunch Iordered has pushed me to never going back. Good food for the area and the blt-e is very good but the portion size for soup is very overrated. Essentially a cup size for... $9. The beer selections are basic. The location is clean and well maintained but connected to a hotel that I am less thanthrilled by. Would recommend if staying at the hotel but I think it needs refinement. Read more

The hotel was very nice and staff at the front desk were friendly. Room service wasn?t available at all and they refused to... even try to connect me to the kitchen so I could pick up my own food. When I called to see if I could get an earlier check in Iwas met with an attitude the was about the same as when i asked if I could order food to pick up and bring back to the room. Overall the customer service was trash for 180 dollars a night to say I?m disappointed would be an understatement. Read more
