Reviews for Viet Pho in Albany, GA
Total rip off. Got carryout. Paid for b 25. Suppose to be a sampler plate. It was nothing but some noodles and a whole lot of... cabbage. No fried egg, no shrimp except one, and no pork. I'm going to complain and get my money back tomorrow. They mustlaunder money from the nail salon because they're always empty but stay open Read more
The pho was good. The portion was bigger than I expected, and the waitress was really nice. Definitely a place to try.
5/11/22 I am a fan of Pho. I try Pho everywhere I go. I had the beef noodle with steak. This just doesn?t meet any of my... expectations. Pho is made from pho cubes. Very weak flavor. Meat was chewy. Noodles were under cooked. No basil leaves. Friedspring rolls were barely warm, and where was the pork and other ingredients? $30.00 for lunch for 2. Pick a favorite hamburgeror pizza place. I had the chicken fried rice, and chicken pho. The rice was sticky and soft, amazing taste and you can tell it was made with... love and authenticity. The pho was incredible, I?ve never had anything like it. It was my first time having pho and itdefinitely set the standard for me I will come back here for sure just for the pho. To add to the pho, you get a plate ofassortments to add to your pho. The bean sprout added in - it made the pho so much more fresh and just light. The cilantro addeda beautiful mint flavor and the jalapeños were very spicy and added a kick. I only added a couple of those lol. My husband gotthe grilled chicken vermicelli and the Banh Mi (Vietnamese Sandwhich) which looked amazing as well. I will definitely come backhere, the atmosphere was very relaxing and the waitress was very knowledgeable on the menu items and recommendations. Not onlythat but she was very attentive and polite, easy to talk to. I gave compliments to the owner and told him it was my first timetrying pho in general and it blew my mind. Must try here in Albany!! Read more

I?m a huge Pho fan and was in town so I thought I would try it out. I got a large pho with chicken. The portion was large. ... The waiter was nice and came back out to check on me. The dish came out quick. No Thai basil was brought out. I asked for itand was told they have cilantro only. I should have read the reviews where others said the same thing. That is a deal breakerfor me. I love the aromatic flavor of Thai basil and it left the soup lackluster without it. The bean sprouts were a bitwilted which was also disappointing. The chicken was white breast meat that was a bit tough, like it was over boiled. Thenoodles were over cooked to the point of falling apart as I ate it. They could only be picked up in small clumps. The brothflavor was not bad, but didn?t have the complexity of a true homemade stock base. I am not an overly critical restaurantcustomer, but I left less than satisfied. I ordered a large, planning on taking home half, but I left it. I won?t bereturning. Read more
