Reviews for Syma's Mexican Grill & Persian Cuisine in Albany, CA
It was a very long time ago that I came here (2001? yikes I'm so old lol) but the food was so amazing that I remember it after... all these years. Can't wait to come back and try it again. Read more
Been twice. I want to like this place because it has an exotic feel to it but the food is a bit underwhelming and the prices are... a bit too high for what it is. Will come back occasionally whenever I want something 'different'. Read more
We were a group of 8 people so we got to taste many different dishes. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. The reason why I... didn't give a 5-star rating is due to the super sweet cucumber drink they have. We have diluted it a few times and still verysweet. But the food was downright delicious. Would definitely go back. Read more

I was looking for a place to eat for lunch being that it was already late in the day. So I ordered some tacos from this place... and it was veryyyy worth it. From the appearance it seemed to be a small family establishment which made it even that much morewelcoming. Will definitely go back Read more
Wow, this place is amazing! We got the Pescado Veracruz and the Symas Crunchy Wrap, and they were great. These two dishes,... shared between two people is plenty of food. They also came with complimentary chips/salsa. The Pescado Veracruz was ordered asone corn tortilla and one flour tortilla. I personally liked the flour tortilla better, but I think if you can get to the tacosbefore they get cold, the corn tortilla might be better. Regardless, they were very flavorful and filing. The Crunchy wrap wasvery well assembled and didn't fall apart while eating, which is always a plus. The flavor was great and it was filling. Thesooner you get to this while it's still hot/crunchy, the better. The salsa had kick, which is always a plus. The only thing Ididn't like was the horchata. It didn't taste at all like what I remember. It tasted like pure sugar, similar to drinkingcondensed milk. I could not finish it. Read more
