This place is great. I don't know how they do it. They have a huge selection of items on their menu and everything is delicious.... I had the blackened salmon salad and the salmon was cooked to perfection. We ended the meal with the churros with ice creamwhich was amazing. I've also come for breakfast and they have a great selection of breakfast treats on their kids menu. Under the radar, multi food restaurant, /cafe, always quiet, with cool, shadowy retro decor inside, and a super polite staff.... Looking to hide out from Sunny, loud, noisy places, I stopped in here this morning for breakfast and tried their eggs. Benedict.Their eggs Benedict while looking super minimalist (to tell the truth it really could have done with a sprig of parsley or asingle tomato or something just for the visuals) was really tasty, and the parmesan fried potatoes went great with their versionof hollandaise sauce which was much to my liking. Tangy and mellow at the same time. The great breakfast! I wish they madeespresso drinks. I'm going to give them four out of 5 stars cuz I think they can still improve, but they have great food therefor sure. And the staff is really cool. Read more
Don?t let the quiet atmosphere fool you! Just moved to the neighborhood and have been here countless times from their amazing... coffee and breakfast to their full entrees! Today I ordered the chicken pesto pasta and was absolutely perfect. Chicken isseasoned and tender, pesto was authentic and no heavy cream or add ons; just basil and oil! A mellow spot with friendly and attentive service every time. They have a great classic menu with American staples like Cobb... salad, burgers, sandwiches, and pasta dishes. They also have a very tasty Mexican menu with dishes like enchiladas, tacos,nachos, burritos, and Chile rellenos. The Chile Verde is flavorful and juicy. I've also come for breakfast and they have a solidlineup, if you're brunching, try the tater tot dish it's delicious. The french fries are skinny and cooked perfectly, themargaritas are tasty and not overly sweet. They have a happy hour with a drink special wed-sat. Apparently I... start eating as soon as they arrive and forget to take a photo ???? ??- Updated 8/19/2021 with two more pictures ?of thechicken sandwich on focaccia and the salmon. Both delish. Salmon was perfect?rich and tender. Also churro with ice cream wasgreat. ??- Delicious food, beautifully presented, great service. They have expanded their Mexican offerings and so we triedthe Chile Relleno Plate. I enjoyed the grilled fish tacos on their original menu and knew it would be good -- and it was! Wassurprised by the tomatoey sauce on top of the chile but it was a great addition. They offer their amazing breakfast dishes allday. I always love Eggs Benedict so I ordered it with smoked salmon. Yumm and perfectly cooked, as you can see in the photoafter I sliced into the egg. Other great dishes I've had here - the braised short ribs melt in your mouth. Prime rib, not onthe menu right now, was huge and fabulous. Fried chicken and waffle was a bit too healthy for me, ha ha, because of the whitemeat chicken. I'm always surprised that this place isn't more crowded. I think it may be because this place offers a widevariety of cuisines and people are suspicious when you can get American style burgers, Asian dishes, and Mexican dishes on onemenu -- they expect only one cuisine per restaurant for authenticity. But Duo Grill prepares everything very well and alwayspresents every plate beautifully. Especially when there are different tastes and opinions in your group, this is an excellentchoice. Read more
