Recommended by several local Chinese foodies. 1000 pepper fish soup was outstanding. Mapo tofu was good. Spicy spare ribs with... hand made noodles was also tasty. I've had better double skin elsewhere. Read more

Nice environment and service. Not that authentic in some sense but still tasty. The menu is large so it can be a hit or miss... when ordering…My favorite so far are the beef stew noodles and tea tree duck Read more

It was ok. The pork shoulder was pretty when delivered but tasted bland. The sauce was good. The cumin lamb was delicious. The... dumplings were not good. The Singapore noodles were ok. They gave me a warm soju in a pitcher which wasn’t great because itstayed warm. Read more

This Szechuan Cuisine and Dimsum restaurant is comfortable and packed with both local and Chinese people. The servers are... Chinese and they are so friendly. The food portion here is huge, so that it really suits for sharing among 5 - 6 persons. Ifyou come with family or in a large group, you could order several dishes to be shared together. Since I only came with afriend here, we only ordered two dishes, and GUESS WHAT.. We cannot finish it all and ended up in takeaway. Here are what wetried : ???? / shui zhu yu pian / Spicy Szechuan Boiled Fish Fillet (USD 15.95) The soft fish on the plentiful of malaseasoning, dried chili peppers, chili powder, oil, garlic, and spring onions. ???? / pao jiao ji kuai / Szechuan Pickled Pepperwith Diced Chicken Breast (USD 13.95) The fried diced chicken breast with a lot of Sichuan peppercorns, oil, sliced dried chili, and spring onions. Be careful with the Sichuan peppercorns. They are small and could "hide" among the other. They are thesource of spicy taste. And do not forget to eat the dishes with the rice, too. I chose the brown rice for this lunch. Read more

As a Szechuan native, I can say that this place has the best Szechuan food I’ve ever had near Berkeley. Just have a look at... the red chili oil and the dried chili on top of the soup. They look spicy, but they do not taste that spicy at all! It’s thesecret for Szechuan food. All you feel is that you want more and more! Definitely will come back! Read more

Food was right below average to me. Pretty pricy. Service sucked. Really loud. Beautiful inside. Rundown or old looking for... outside. Host was friendly. No one else smiled or had etiquette or courtesy. Server forgot beer, no apologies. Servers & busersall seemed unhappy. I've only been here twice. I honestly don't really like the crab either since I'm comparing it to otherplaces. When it's slow you'll probably get better service, that's what happened the first time. Oh, another plus was we were in& out of there's pretty fast. You really don't want to stay longer unless you like frantic, loud crowds of people that are allover the place. I wouldn't plan on coming here again. Read more
