First time having poke so I can't really compare the food, but everything was fresh and tasty. I'd go back.
We really like this place but they have one employee (white man, late teens to around mid twenties?, unkempt brown hair) who... consistently does not give as much fish as every other employee. My bowl was literally half empty. When you call him on this hedoes not respond kindly. Don?t let him make your bowl and it will be much better but very disappointed in this. I want to like this place, but I get a stomach ache literally every. single. time. My guess is that the raw fish has been... sitting out too long. Also, the bowls are supposed to come with avocado, but they always tell me they?re out, or that it?s tooexpensive for them. In which case, they should just take it off the menu so I don?t feel slighted. The only plus side to thisplace is that it?s fast. But otherwise I can?t recommend it. Read more
This was was absolutely AMAZING! The ingredients were super fresh, and the spam musubi was perfectly made. My bowl was so... pretty and well put together. Came in on a random Tuesday Afternoon after craving a healthy lunch. Needless to say i was very happy with my order! The... portions are very generous and there is huge selection of toppings & add-ons! The gentlemen on the counter was very patient andpolite. He was not stingy with the protein either. My favorite Poke place in Alameda. So fresh and great portions. Definitely will come back again. Also, such great customer... service! Everyone is so nice there. A huge plus is that they sell Spam Musubi and they are delicious. My husband and I get themall the time. Read more
