One of the cutest Cafe?s in Alameda. The food was amazing and the view is so entertaining. We had breakfast turkey and ham with... eggs croissant. It was really delicious. Definitely will come back again. Read more
Such a gem of a place! Great coffee, great food, fantastic view, friendly service. Just wish they were open for dinner some... nights, too! Read more
Easy to walk to along the marina, very friendly to dogs, and enough space to stretch out. Quiche and strawberry scone were... great! Read more
Lovely café by the water. Came in February and they had half indoor, half outdoor seating. Perfect place to see birds, paddle... boarders, sail boats go by. Grilled cheese was yummy too. Read more
I got their tuna melt and was a little unsure about the white cheddar they chose to pair w/ it, but that was definitely the... right choice. The food was good, but I'd definitely go back there just for the customer service. Everyone was super friendly andI got some apple slices w/ my sandwich which was a pleasant surprise. They offered a cup for my bottled soda, if I wanted ice,got a bottle opener for me, a treat for my dog; it was all very accommodating. The view was absolutely beautiful, the wonderfulsmell of cinnamon coming from the kitchen, AND they're dog friendly. Now, if you do decide to bring your dog, you have to watchout because there are pigeons around. They sat nearby basically watching me eat and flocked around my table when I got up. Read more
I went on a Saturday late morning after an article in EBX mentioned them as a best of the east Bay dog friendly spots (with my... dog). The counter is peculiarly situated and if a few parties are there it becomes sardine like quickly. Seating is extremelylimited and groups larger than two are out of luck unless the rail overlooking the water is empty. My cold brew was okay, a bitstrong but eventually drinkable. The quessdilla was just cheeses in flour tortilla with sour cream no pico or salsa or seasoningat all. It was as if the cook actively hates food and eating. By the time I was heading out seating was gone and I hear severalcomplaints about waiting a half hour and more for simple orders. I'm sure the article increased traffic but it seems like theywoulda thought of that. Great views. Read more
Five stars twice! Sixteen! More if I could! Scott's creations are infused with magic or something, and should really be called... 'baked epics' because of how far out past 'goods' they exist. My only reservation is that by giving an honest review of thetranscendent scones (how does he get the flavor of three scones in one, without overdoing it?) in varieties like cinnamonchocolate chip, Earl Grey, orange mandarin, and lavender lemon, I run the risk of raising awareness of this tiny gem of a brunchspot, and then by the time I get there, they'll be sold out. Behind the counter, Shawn is a consistent delight to interact with, and representative of the high caliber of folks this place attracts. Read more
