Went in the store the guy immediately and rudely in front of other customers said "we are not taking more orders literally. We... have enough people inside all 6 of them...". The sign outside says open ... I do not really understand what that meant.... ??? I just left other people were coming in and he said the same.... Vegetarian option is a mushroom Sandwich. I am vegan so asked them to hold all the cheeses and mayo. They wouldn?t add extra... mushrooms in substitution for the cheese without charging more. But they barely put any in at all. So paid $12 for basicallybread, lettuce, and a couple slices of tomato, very little mushrooms. It?s annoying when people don?t understand there needs tobe a normal amount of whatever the main ingredient is in vegan/veg food. If you?re going to charge the same for a meat sandwichat least put the same amount of mushrooms in there. NOT mostly lettuce and charge $12! Read more
I misunderstood the part where a portion of the sub sales goes to 1st responders. I was asked if I want to round up to support... the 1st responders after my total for the subs. I bought 3 medium sandwiches, and it cost me $41 and some change. If thesandwiches were stellar......NO PROBLEM. If some proceeds went from sandwich sales to 1st responders......maybe I would go backin a pinch, just to feel good about supporting the good folks at the Fire Department. The sandwiches there however, are worthmaybe about half what they charge for them at best. Don't mistake me for a cheapskate. I happily pay $16 per sandwich at Starsdown the street, and would pay more if they raise the price. Because the Star Sandwich is worth it. Bottom line is a Firehousesub is unworthy of the price tag. Sandwiches are really good and filling. I make an effort to try a different sandwich on every visit. So far, no sandwich has... disappointed me. The kids meals are a good value, however the specialty subs are a bit pricey. If the prices were a dollar ortwo cheaper, I would have given 5 stars. I'd come again with a coupon. Read more
No flavor on the two tuna sandos and the club sub was dry and unflavorful as well. I added salt and pepper but something was... still missing. Will never return. How can you mess up a sandwich? Read more
