My partner and I enjoy the pizza from East End, but have deicided to BoyCott ordering To Go pizza. We live in West Oakland and... by the time pizza gets here its cold. We always have to reheat everything. Seems like Indoor dining could have opened a longtime ago. We have done order at the window a few times! The Hipster douchbag behind the cash register always seems so put-out byany questions about the food, pizza and indoor dining. Plus its very expensive for such a small pizza! Read more

Pizza and salad done right, healthy and delicious! I enjoyed the healthier pizza toppings and thin crust. Will try again earlier... so we can pick from all of the menu items! Read more

So underwhelming given the rave reviews and high prices. We ordered the "farmer's daughter" pizza: it feels like so much effort... was put into waffling the zucchini and squash, but it just didn't pay off. The squash was too watery, and without a tomato basenothing on the pizza added the necessary acidic balance to the fattiness of the cheese and meat. The "house made" Italiansausage was missing the texture and flavor of good Italian sausage and was just such a pitiful quantity for four extra dollars. The best part of the pizza was the crust, but it just wasn't enough to save it, especially given the price. The salad wasworse. Again the portion was disappointing for the price, and I could hardly taste a hint of anchovy in the Caesar dressing, which is the central ingredient to a good Caesar dressing. Overall I see a lot of effort being put into making this food fancy, but when any mom and pop joint out east could outdo this for less than a quarter of the price, I just can't get behind the foodhere. Amazing food, drinks and service. We randomly saw their sign outside with their specials on it and went in to grab the desert... they were serving. We ended up ordering dinner and drinks as well. The server was amazing, offering to let us try a drink beforecommitting to ordering it, but it was amazing so we kept it. Everything tastes incredible and the cocktail menu is large andvery unique. The atmosphere is nice, and not to much. I highly recommend going here if you are in the area. Read more

You know, this place deserves five stars. It's just that... THE PLACE IS PACKED on weekend nights. They take reservations now... though so thatsnhuge and a must to get in on a Friday or Saturday. Best pizza in a 100 miles, great sides, apps are elegant, oysters are amazing and cheap on Tuesdays. Atmosphere is alive with people enjoying themselves in conversation. The staff arehandsome and very attentive and accommodating. The kitchen is part of the dining room and the pizza dough flies high. Lots oflovely cocktails and a variety of intoxicants always makes for a great dining experience. A must go... Read more

Food is very good for the price and not overly salty or sweet which is very refreshing. Prices are reasonable for the portion... you get. Don't expect a quick meal, food and service are slow. Read more

We've been here twice now, and really enjoyed the food and service. Servers are always nice and competent, food is consistently... delicious and prepared well. Both the pasta (papardelle with ragu) and vegetable sides (in winter it was Brussels sprouts, andin spring we had asparsgus with salt cured egg yolk) were perfectly made. Our Neapolitan style pizzas came with thin yetsubstantial and satisfactorily chewy crusts, the toppings were generous and evenly distributed, and we thoroughly enjoyed eachmeal here. Definitely worth repeated trips! Read more
