Reviews for Ceron Kitchen in Alameda, CA
What a nice brunch experience! Ceron Kitchen is a great addition to Webster Street and Alameda. We went there for a late... breakfast and it was the perfect starter for this Sunday. We started with a delicious Berry Salad, fresh and nicely presented. My wife then had Black Forest Ham Benedict and I chose Lox Scramble. It was very good, tastefully presented and just the rightportion size. Even the coffee was a delight for the eyes (the coffee itself was not spectacular, but ok), with a nice cup and anextra little mug for the milk (see picture). Service was very friendly, reasonably quick, but not rushed, the interior had sometasteful elegance and the bathrooms were clean, even offering single wrapped peppermints for refreshment. Overall a verypleasant experience and we?ll make sure to come back. So here is an update: we came back for dinner and it was again a pleasantexperience. Friendly service, delicious food, nice ambience. But one slight minus this time: the main dish came too fast afterthe appetizers, and yes, it felt a little rushed this time. A three course dinner in about 60 minutes is not enough time toreally savor it. We came a third time and it was perfect. Food, service, presentation, timing. First class. The waitressrecommended Octopus Tostada as one of the appetizers and it turned out to be perfect composition of citrus and mild octopusflavors. Read more
Great service good food great drinks. Hat off to the chef the food/drinks came out in the timely manner which was awesome... because it kept the kids at bay and avoid brunch melt down. The maple old fashion was a great way to start the meal and thefresh OJ was perfect to follow. The black forest ham Benedict was cooked so perfectly I was impressed. The French toast wasgreat. Just firm and toast perfectly on the out side but not soggy on the inside. The fresh berries on to tip it off was thebest. The crepe was great the whip ricotta topping was just right amount or rich and creaminess to set the whole off and it waseven better on the French toast(oreder a side of thr crepe topping and thank me later). The dinning atmosphere was veryupscale and elegant. Great lighting and nice music in the back round really set the vibe here. Definitely would like to got backfor dinner as the brunch menu was so good. They definitely have a return customer. Read more
Best clam chowder I have ever had. The presentation was fantastic and the flavors were exquisite. The short ribs were cooked... just right. The ambiance was great. Alameda needs a high end restaurant.m like Ceron. There was no rush at all to leave. Theserver was very attentive. My only concern was that it took a while for the food to be delivered. But the wait was worth it. Read more
Officially my local spot for a special occasion! Highly recommend the scallops! However, the dessert was absolutely the star of... the meal! The Paris Brest and Citrus cheesecake were unlike anything I?ve ever tasted. Such a painting of flavors! The servicewas wonderful?everyone kind and attentive. The ambiance was also lovely. We went here for a birthday dinner and all three mains were excellent, in the way that you?d hope based upon the price per... plate. Meats were exquisite, cooked to perfection with a good balance of cream and spices to balance them out. Pizza was crackerthin with pockets of chewy softness. Staff was on top of it. Gazpacho shots glasses seemed to go out as a ?gift from the chef?to every table. Inside and outside is still reminiscent of Otaez that was at this spot previously. Read more
On a trip to visit family I was fortunate to be staying across from Ceron kitchen. The outside fire lit atmosphere drew me in... and even though I traveled casual, the authentic upscale feel was welcoming and I enjoyed conversations with the bartendersCecile and Kelly. When asked for a crafted cocktail of the their choosing, I was not disappointed. The bar staff haveextensive knowledge of artisanal cocktails. I have dined here every night of my stay. Every dish was exquisitely presented, but what was most notable was the complexity of the textures and flavors. The scallops were crispy golden sear and dusting ofseasoning. The flank steak with a tangy balsamic reduction was my favorite overall. The dichotomy of tangy and sweet wasdelightful. The filet with baby carrots and corn meal bacon was served at the perfect temperature. Last, I had the short ribsand like every dish I had there it was plated with al dente vegetable. Another creative touch is the petite goblet of savorysoup served before the meal. If the delicious menu and the cocktails were not enough, my solo dining experience ended happened to fall around Valentine?s Day and I was surprised with a bit of a couple of romantic touches the end of my meal. Ifyou are looking for that perfect place to take a date or just have the perfect dining experience, Ceron is the place you need tobe. Read more

Just wow. I can?t even begin to describe what an amazing experience we had to celebrate my father in law birthday. The service... was outstanding, very attentive and answered all of questions as first timers. The ambiance was perfect with tasteful decor. Wewere able to taste a few wines before deciding on a bottle, and the stemware omg. For four people and a one year old wecomfortably ate two appetizers which were divine. Then we died after receiving the main course, each of us devoured ourbeautifully plated meals. We finished off with coffee and dessert which was equally beautiful and delicious. For the life of meI cannot remember our waitress name but she was truly wonderful. To add, extremely child friendly for such a nice restaurantwhich was refreshing! Read more
